Wookey Hole Hotel
Perfect place for visiting the Mends, place was spotlessly clean and room was big, best was very co fly and we both slept extremely well. Can not fault the staff as very attentive, friendly and hard working in fact they make the hotel.
Bad night sleep.”
Exceptionally hot, didn’t sleep a wink. No air con or even fans to mitigate this.
Great for families”
We had booked only one night at this accommodation, as were travelling on - and were pleasantly surprised by the standard. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. The hotel is adjacent to Wookey Hole Caves making it ideal for families with young children visiting the area - there is also a play area, shop and cafe close by in the old paper mill. We chose to have breakfast which was the only downside as the staff did not seem to be well organised and the restaurant was busy as it was half term - we had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated then wait for orders for cooked breakfast to be taken, however once you are seated there is a self service cereal, toast and beverage area with free refils - again ideal for families, as the children seemed to have a good selection of breakfat choices. Would stay again but perhaps not in school holidays.
Good sized room in very adequate hotel.”
No complaints of significance but we found the room a tad airless (no aircon) Staff very helpful.
great value,very comfortable,highly recommended”
We thought the hotel was lovely,so clean and well presented.Staff were friendly.Thelocation was beautiful and very peaceful.Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and the there were good size cups, not the usual piddly little ones. Would have been great if the receptionist had explained that the keycard has to be inserted in the light switch socket before you get any electric :-)otherwise she was lovely. Only criticism was the price of food..excessive for the area.
Clean efficient good location with helpful staff”
Everything we needed for an overnight stay on a touring holiday.
very pleasant very good value for money”

Fab hotel, beautiful location, great for kids”
We booked this on a spur, and although it is a little way out of Wells, we enjoyed it immensely. Kitch little tourist resort, but fun nonetheless.
