A really wonderful experience ”

We loved our stay at in the homestead at Wooleen. Apart from the excellent hospitality of the hosts, great food & ambiance of the place, the work that David & Frances are doing to restore their ‘small’ portion of the rangelands after 120 of overgrazing is unique & very important. Support their work & stay here....& take the sunset tour with David if you get the chance. It’s worth it.

We had two wonderful days at Wooleen, staying in the homestead. Warm welcome, gorgeous room, beautiful bathrooms, fluffy towels, delicious meals, friendly staff and hosts. The sunset tour of the station and the self drive and walking options were great. Just fabulous.

Woolleen Homestead is a unique stay opportunity. ”

We loved our 2 night stay, David & Francis our hosts were very generous with their time. This is a very unique Australian experience. It is not luxery, but very comfortable. The nearest town is 200klms. There is an airstrip at the Station if you dont want to drive. I think the drive is part of the experience. We loved the self walking tours, that explain so much about the former life of the Station & its early inhabitants. There are 2 interesting guided tours.

素晴らしいホスピタリティーとロケーション”

パースからはかなり遠いですが、非常に良かったです。行くまで途中の町「マレワ」までは北海道のような爽やかな景色ですが、宿の周辺は赤い土に覆われた「アウトバック」を感じることができました。「ホームステッド」タイプに宿泊したのですが、オーナーご夫婦のホスピタリティーは抜群。又、宿の周りのロケーションも最高でした。トレッキング用・MTB用・車用の各トレイルがよく整備されています。夕食はホームステッド宿泊者全員で一つのテーブルを囲みワイワイガヤガヤ。他のお客さんはオーストラリアの人が多かったです。とても良い経験でした。
