        Very Nice! ”
Friendly staff. They allowed me to leave my luggage while I was heading for Bhakapur and Pokhara. They also offered me a good rate for one of their very nice rooms. Staff offered some recommendations regarding where to eat and how to get to where. I love how this was near to the Durbar Square. The rooms were amazing! They have a rooftop that gives a great view of its surroundings. Catch the laughing yogas classes in the morning via the rooftop!

        Budget room”
Budget rooms are found in a separate building. They look quite rustic and have the bare minimum. The toilet in the separate bathroom had not been properly cleaned for a while. It is ok for a one night stay for who is on a budget and not too demanding. (I found ants on my pillow when I was making myself ready for bed, too late at night to request for a change) Overall I felt that this detached building was not as looked after as the main one which was refurbished post-earthquake and where you can find other room categories. Spotted a rodent in the kitchen, therefore skipped breakfast on the next day although it was included.

        Expected to be better ”
the ground seems to be to sink at every step. there were people outside who spent the night screaming without the security told them nothing. windows, even with good views, not close and let in noise and insects . very cheerful and helpful staff, the best of the hotel.

        Wow”
i didn't like the area, lots of tourists but nice hotel
great staff, spectacular rooms. Like staying on hand rocks in Sydney. Really nice exposed beam ceilings. Massive rooms that look like palaces with massive carved entry doors. Very cool.

In the heart of Kathmandu Durbar Square”
        Location, Service, Food
I booked the budget room, which is at the back of the hotel. There is an entrance to access Durbar Square downstairs. The stay was semi comfortable specifically because of the thin walls and the shared bathroom with no hot water. Despite the slight discomfort, I am very happy with their service. Glitches happened and forgiven. The location itself is a plus because if you enjoy observing how the locals live, this can be a place to start. My heart hurts as I write this from my home country, like many others, I survived the earthquake and pray that the owners and staff I met here are safe, especially the ancient Newari architecture that this family had preserved for centuries. My prayers are with the strong survivors of Nepal. Please take care guys ...

Never expect it would be really good.”
        Location, rooms, staff
We stayed at the hotel just for a night, but it was memorable. My cousin and I love the attic room we had. It was very big that could fit even 7 persons. Hanuman-dhoka square is also justin the neighborhood so it was reallly a great experience. Staff was very nice and accomodating also.

Budget rooms are very budget - upgrade!”
Location and the quality of the food
This was originally a budget room - but quickly upgraded as the walls were extremely thin.

        Beautiful rooms”
Room full of character, comfortable bed
This is a noisy place to stay if you like to sleep in - but if you are planning to be up early you can get to Durbar Square through the back courtyard. Food is slow - but of excellent quality. We recommend flagging a taxi outside the front gates as opposed to ordering one through the hotel which takes a long time - there are heaps taxis having just dropped off passengers at the Square.
