nice and clean, although room very claustrophobic.”
location clean & decor
Beautiful location and very clean. However Saturday night disco went on till 1 am right below our room. Rang down to reception at midnight to be told nothing they could do and I was not the only one complaining. When the disco finished the people then came banging doors and were noises so all in all a restless stay feeling exhausted Sunday morning. When mentioned upon checking out reception were not helpful at all.

Nice hotel”
modern clean friendly
our stay was fine, only complaints are that I booked this hotel with over a months notice for a couple stay and we ended up with two single beds. Also the heating in the room failed to work. The bar is very overpriced too.

Quick break”
Beautiful gardens and scenery
We booked a double room but it was extremely small there was hardly enough room to move around the bed, it would have been suited to a small single bed room. The size was compounded by poor layout of furniture making the space even smaller. Hardly enough room for the cases. Would not stay there again.

open fire. beautiful location. excellent food”
decor in bar and reception area, food, staff
my wife has a food intolerance to gluten and it was such a refreshing change to eat some where that stocks gluten free bread and has a full understanding of how difficult it can be eating out with coeliac disease. Thank you for putting our minds at rest and being so well informed and stocked. we will return chris and sophia jones

Parkside Hotel”
Friendly staff, restaurant food very good. set in beautiful grounds, close to MK shopping and theatre area.
The hotel in general is overdue some TLC. A coat of paint and some more attention to aesthetic detail would not go amiss.
The hotel is set in large grounds and looks as though it was once a grand house. It is approached down a private driveway and car parking is ample. The village of Woughton on the Green (pronounced wufton)is pretty with some thatched properties. On entering through the large front door, you find yourself in a large lounge/bar area. Food is served throughout the day in this area from the bar menu. 'The Lanes' restaurant has a more formal atmosphere and is used for lunches and dinner. SOme members of my family are 'dairy free' due to allergies but this was not a problem to the restaurant chef despite having no warning! Breakfast is also served here for residents and those who wish to use it for breakfast meetings. The bed rooms are ample in size with a double bed, chairs, table and TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are included. The rooms we used were in need of some TLC but overall were of an acceptable standard for the price. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful from the reception, bar and restaurant. During our stay the singer was staying and apparently the hotel is no stranger to celebrity. You never know who you may spot during your visit!
