Felt like a scam.”
Photos shows a 3-bedded room but the actual was a double bed and a single bed. Wifi cannot be found and connected. TV is basically useless. Very dark at night and entrance to the area is only free after 9.30pm. So if you were to enter before 9.30pm, you have to pay to enter. If you were to enter after 9.30pm, you will have to walk in the dark. Staff only willing to pick us up according to his own timing which I personally feel that its a very bad service.

Avoid at all cost”
of course we had no other choice since we were travelling with another couple but definately to be avoided. There are two areas in this town to be at, this is not the one.

Confusing to find but a Hidden room in Wuzhen”
Convenience, Price
Like other reviewers, this "inn" is located right inside the East Gate. If travelling alone, you'll need to buy a ticket to enter. Confusion arose because once we entered the East Gate, we couldn't find the house!! You should call once when you arrive in Wuzhen and they will help you find the place. Although the staff doesn't speak English much, they are very willing to help and even drove us to the West Gate area. It is very loud with all the tours that start at 7:30AM; however, you can't beat the fact that you are right inside the scenic area - just like the locals that live there!!!

The ancient village feel, amenities (all you need), position (beautiful location (before the tourists arrive at 7:30 am & after they leave at dusk)
Overall, the room is nice and comfortable, although the bathroom door is broken; and the cups too small for drinking. The room is clean and totally modernised. 6 rooms in all at the Inn, we got the best one with the terrace. All modern facilities/amenities available ~ flat screen TV with pay TV, air-con, hairdryer, kettle, bathroom facilities. Worst point ~ the Inn is situated at East Gate Scenic Area which is rather small, main sites at West Gate. Entering both sides require paying an entrance fee separately, ticket expires at 5:30 pm, and if you want to go back to the Inn after 5:30 pm, you have to pay another entrance fee of 25 RMB. Or you can just wander around in West Gate till late, and slip back using the entrance at XinHua Lu. (Lots to see at West Gate, though you should have dinner early, otherwise lots of food run out at different eateries, many of them close around 8 pm.) Another con ~ very noisy at the Inn, as tourists pour in very early in the morning, with the guides speaking through loudspeakers. You have to get up very early. But it is most interesting to stay at this ancient inn in this beautiful water village. Wuzhen much much better than ZhouZhuang, much more beautiful scenery without so many red lanterns, and much bigger area to explore too. Actually I would recommend people to try staying at the various Minsu (staying with families) or hotels at West Gate, more convenient. You can find Minsu at Wuzhen's official tourism website.

One night in wuzhen ”
Helpful boss
The boss is very helpful, we called to ask on the address but ended he offers to pick up from the bus station. Suggested a great itinerary to us in term of time and money. The hotel located at the east part of wuzhen. The boss also help us to purchase bus tickets for our next journey without additional charges. It be noisy after 730am as visitors are started to coming in while the hotel is just right next to the walking corridor.

Cheap but would choose some where else”
Room size, helpful staff
I knew I shouldn't expect much, but the noise after 0830am on a weekend is insane. There were many groups of tourist that had tour guides speaking at our window with loudspeakers. Besides, I didn't know where to get food in the area.
