Good value, but failed to hit the mark
Had to beg them at one stage for someone to come and clean our room. Our room was never cleaned before 4pm which was very disappointing considering we were out most of the day and would arrive back to an uncleaned room. The staff at the front counter were very friendly but the overall experience of the cleaning staff brought the rating down. The most concerning part of our stay was on the day of checkout. We were mostly packed and had a few things left in the room. We went out for breakfast and came back just before checkout to find our room cleaned and the remainder of our belongings gone. While the only valuable item was our phone charger we approached the staff who were tentative to our request to have the cleaner come back and when we questioned her about anything in the room she said there was nothing, it was only after I said there was a phone charger and cable she magically remembered taking it out. The location was good, a short walking distance to some great eateries and cafes. They provided us with a crib for our son, but weren't able to provide a high chair for eating. Thankfully it was the only time we ate at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the view of the canal was great, especially for watching the gay pride. Would stay again but would hope to see some improvements especially with the cleaning of the rooms and better communication with their cleaning staff to ensure they don't clear out a room before checkout has been completed.

Nice beds, but standaard rooms are a littlebit rundown
Don't take the rooms at the groundfloor with no canalview. These rooms don't have any view (patio) and are small.

Awesome
The ambience of the hotel was outstanding, the staff were amazing, the location was ideally situated on the Canals away from the hustle and bustle of the night life. Clean, spacious rooms, modern and fresh.

Good Hotel
Only problem is no air conditioning in the rooms which made it too hot the last couple of days.

Great View, Cozy and Quiet
Nice scenery over looking the Amsterdam Canal, quiet and relaxing and at the same time walkable distance to the city centre.

Nice hotel but lack of communication!
Lovely clean hotel but the staff don't let you know the facilities available. They're not very helpful with how to get around or where to buy things and also had a problem getting my inclusive breakfast

Nice hotel in a sweet location near a canal
Lovely hotel, not too far away from the hustle and bustle, good place if you want to be quite near the action and appreciate some peace and serenity too.
