Nice hotel and convenient location”
Beautiful and big hotel. Less than 5 minutes walk from Main train and bus station (Hanbanhof) and next to a mall. Staff are friendly and breakfast buffet has wide selection and nice. Highly recommended.

Big and cosy room, near the train station ”
Chose to stay here so that we do not have to lug our luggage ard as we were transiting by train. Can easily explore Salzburg by bus. Design slightly dated but very well-maintained, and most importantly clean and spacious.

Great location”
Location was just behind the main train station and bus interchange which brings you to the city center. Best location to station is H+ hotel but Wyndham grand is just behind one street. Got upgraded and the room was big with two double beds and a lot of walking space for 2 big luggages. Room was clean and whilst hotel breakfast buffet was the same everyday, it provides a decent spread so no complain. Was originally worried about the negative reviews online regarding theft but those concerns were unfounded. The hotel is great and would stay here again if need be.

Good location, good breakfast but not a very good stay at Wyndham”
We were glad Wyndham has kindly arranged our 3 rooms on the same floor and one room was ready when we checked in early. Service was friendly. But our triple room was basically a double room for 2 persons - 2 beds, 2 towels, 2 etc. A pushed-in bed was provided only after we enquired. And it was only the bed, no blanket! We had to request the blanket, the towel, etc. After lying (not jumping!) on the pushed-in bed while watching TV, the bed fell to the floor! Luckily no one was injured. When the staff came over, she simply pulled the bed up and said smilingly it was done as if it happened every time, with no apology. We knew it wasn't done and fasten it ourselves so that we could sleep more assuredly at night. We expect a triple room to be a room for 3 persons, without needing us to request every item by item, and the pushed-bed to be properly fixed up. We booked and paid for a triple room, not a double room. Will not recommend or book their triple room again.

Far from town but it is ok with bus pass. Room was clean and simple. Breakfast and Gym was ok too.

very stinky smell all arond the stay period , drainage was bad and we changed room twice but all rooms are same status . location is close to the main station but hotel is not recommended for stay needs urgent intrevention on interiors and drain system

Excellent Stay at the Wyndham Grand Salzburg Confe”
The Wyndham Grand Salzburg Conference Centre is excellently located, a 4 minute walk from the Salzburg Hbf. Check-in was quick and very professionally done before the receptionist was extremely kind in providing us a city map, pointing out key attractions as well as nearby amenities like Supermarkets. From the hotel, a 12 minute walk brings you to Mirabell Palace and Gardens which is an excellent place to start your walk tour of Salzburg. The city of Salzburg is compact and all the highlights are easily accessible on foot. Check out the next day was extremely quick and we were even offered Nespresso coffee during check out early in the morning, which was a very refreshing surprise. We had a extremely enjoyable stay at the Wyndham Grand Salzburg and would definitely consider the Wyndham group of hotels on our next trip for business or pleasure. Thank you Wyndham Grand Salzburg.

It is a great hotel with attentive staff”
The hotel is very closely located to Salzburg Hbf (only blocks away). The staff is very attentive and the internet is super fast :) One thing though, I don't find any heater inside the room, only in the bathroom. When we visited Salzburg it was so cold outside and an in-room heater would've been awesome :)

Very near Railway Station ”
This hotel is just 5 mins walk from railway station. It is very convenient for traveller arrive by rail. But it is a bit far from city center. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I visit Salzburg next time.

."Lovely hotel and service with a smile"”
The hotel was about 4 minutes walking distance to the salzburg central railway station. There wer alt of eateries just alongside the hotel. The hotel had cofee/tea making facilities n they provided the cofee/tea sachets , kettle sugar etc. The bathroom was big and the reception very willing to help enquiries on tours etc.

the hotel is worthy of its' star rating. On arrival we were greeted by a young receptionist with excellent English skills, who was very courteous and polite. initial reaction to the hotel was it was done to a reasonably high standard and cleanliness was obvious high on the agenda. when we got to our room again we were very happy with the size and general condition of the room. however there were two issues, the first was the fact there was no toilet role in the room. as there was a bedroom staff still in our corridor I asked her for toilet paper. unfortunately she had none and offered me a half used box of tissues as a substitute. a telephone call to the reception was needed to redress the situation. the second issue was the table lamp on the dresser which would not light as the bulb was gone. again nothing major as we didn't really need it but as housekeeping were meant to pick these up it marked the hotel down a slight notch. Would I go back again? absolutely I would and I would recommend it to others. a big advantage it has is its' proximity to the train station and the bus plaza which is excellent if you have to fly into Munich to make it to Salzburg. if you want to go out of the city all buses run from the plaza or its' proximity.

The location very close to the salzburg hbf. Just 5 mins walk. The room is clean and enough for 4 people to stay. The staffs are nice and tried to solve all our problems. One morning, our room’s hair dryer didn’t work. They immediately found somebody to take another hair dryer for us. Appreciate!

Nice Hotel”
Got a great deal on this hotel with the hot deal. deally suited for me as it was a 5 minute walk from the train station. About 25 minutes walk from old town but cheap and easy to catch a tram if you dont like a pleasant walk along the river so location not an issue. Laundromat across the road is also very handy. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was nice with bath and ample room to spread out. Would recommend.

The stay at Wyndham Salzburg was awesome.. One of the biggest rooms for the price! The hotel is very close to Salzburg HBF. Though it's a bit far from the old town... There are many frequent bus services.. You can buy a 24 /48 hour travel card which you travel around unlimited.. All in I would recommend this hotel for couples!!

Nearby to the central hbf rail with all the buses that bring you all over Salzburg. A reasonable mall nearby. These places have morning coffee and late evening convenience stalls for essentials. Excellent place to stay. Staff were very helpful, and free apples for guests!

Great stay in Salzburg with famaily”
I was with my husband and parents-in-law last summer, it was a great stay in Salzburg. It's very easy to travel to go sightseeing and we spent one night at the hotel restaurant, the food was really good and reasonable. The room was clean, nice and quiet, not big, but comfortable. The staffs in the hotel are very friendly, they are willing to help and guide you. Please enjoy your stay here!

A Nice Place to Stay in beautiful Town”
We had a wonderful time in Salzburg, the town is beautiful. The hotel was excellent for family rooms, the facilities were very good. The staff were ok but often not sure and had to get help with enquires and dealing with the checking in process which is not what u expect from a hotel like this. Overall i would recommend it.

Everything is excellent except the service”
This is a hotel with hostel price. lobby is grand, room is neat and tidy. It's near the train station but around 30 mins walk from the tourist sites. You would love this place if you didn't ever need any help from the staff. I was traveling with a male friend. Booked a twin bed room, but given a double bed. Situation became really awkward. I asked for a room change, but every room was full they could only arrange that on the next day. The lobby staff suggested adding a sofa bed for us, so I agreed and move up first to settle our baggage. We waited for an hour, no staff showed up, so I went down the lobby again, staff said the room was actually too small to add a sofa bed. He claimed he has sent someone to tell us, but actually no one came. Then I said at least give us one more blanket, one of us will sleep in the couch, we waited for an hour again, no one came. Time was late, lobby staff gone too. Finally we have to peel the duvet cover off, one use the duvet and one use the cover.
