We stayed in a premier room which was very spacious. The bathroom design is open plan which gives a much airier feel to the whole room. Slight downside here is that at night u can hear anything happening in the toilet! Room was always cleaned well and the fittings etc were pristine. Shower was powerful and hot and the robes were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great too. Lots of cuisine options including local, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and western. Kids had no problem finding something to their liking. Pools (3) are a good size, clean and modern and there’s quite a few loungers but not enough for the whole hotel at once so there is a lot of ‘reserving of sunbeds before breakfast’ happening. One improvement to the pool would be to extend the opening hours as it closes at 7pm. Beach is clean and there’s a lifeguard on duty too. Super cheap tatty beach bar to the left for cheap drinks plus P burger literally outside of the front gates for those times when you want to eat quickly (burgers are amazing) location of hotel is ideal - 15 mins to Hoi An in a grab 20 to marble mountains. Will return.

We stayed as a family with children in Wyndham Hoi An for 3 nights in Jul 2025. The resort has good kids pool and the main pool is good as well. The play area next to kids pool with table tennis tables, snooker tables and foosball is a good relaxation. Kids club is bit small and not much to do but very small kids can spend some time there without issue. Breakfast buffet spread is fine with local, asian and western options. There are not many options for vegan/vegetarians though. The staff both at the reception and at the breakfast room lacks courtesy and welcoming attitude. They appear rude with no soft skills. It seems as if they are forcefully serving the customers. The resort need to provide them proper training to be courteous and welcoming. There is another area where they can improve on is the cleanliness of the rooms by the house keeping staff. They do half work and the cleaning is not up to the mark. It feels more like a touchup rather a cleanup. Even after telling the appropriate team about it, nothing was done on this front so we ignored it as felt there was no point. The pool side bar was good. The rooms are okay but housed in a dark building. Grab service is super fast so it was easy to go from resort to any part of the city. As it was a short stay so our stay was okay. I would recommend friends and family to look for other nearby resorts with friendly and courteous staff that will make their stay more pleasant. So I will give this resort a miss for my next trip.

~A neat 30-something woman's honest review~ The room looks exactly like the pictures. The bed is really big; it's the largest bed I've ever seen. Three adults can comfortably lie down on it. There are chairs and a table on the balcony, so it's great for hanging out swimwear. The sunlight is nice, so the clothes dry quickly, which is the best! The air conditioner can go down to a minimum temperature of 16 degrees; I almost thought it was a refrigerator. The bathroom inside the room is very clean, and the facilities are good. There are a total of 2 swimming pools, and there's a private beach too. The pool in front of the beach is small, but it has a nice view. I was able to check in early at 12, but I think it was because I made a reservation in advance for a birthday trip. It took a while to check in because there were a lot of people; the staff seemed busy. They make coffee at a small cafe in the breakfast area, and the Vietnamese coffee was really delicious. In conclusion, it's okay, not bad. But I don't really want to go again! Good, good, not bad.

I stayed with my son for 4 days at Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort & Villas, and we were so satisfied that we immediately extended for another 3 days. The whole resort is new, clean, and beautifully designed. The pool is large and well maintained, and the private beach is also clean and never crowded – there were always enough sunbeds available. Breakfast was very good and varied, offering plenty of choice. Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. A special thanks goes to the reception staff – everyone was very kind and helpful, especially Ms. Dung and Ms. Vy. This resort is truly the perfect place to relax and unwind. At the same time, the location is great: enjoy the beach or pool during the day, and in the evening explore Hoi An or Da Nang with many dining options. Highly recommended – we would love to come back again!

“Nice facilities but service issues”
I’m currently on day 2 of a 5 day stay here in a 2-bed executive apartment. I’m reviewing whilst everything is fresh in mind but will update at the end of my stay. I come to Vietnam often and have stayed in many hotels and resorts here so my review is taking those experiences into account. Positives - - The room is clean, modern and spacious for a family of 4 - Beds are really comfy - beach is clean and lovely - buffet breakfast is fabulous (including for vegetarians) - games area with foosball, table tennis, billiards is great (although sometimes long wait for a table). - gym is pretty well equipped - the clientele is a really broad mix of nationalities Neutral- - location is a fairly long way from anything. I like this because Hoi An town is very busy these days so the peace and quiet is nice but if you want to walk out to shops/restaurants, there are a couple of local family restaurants opposite and then the nearest ones are about 25 mins walk along the beach at An Bang - there are a LOT of small kids. This is a great place for a family holiday with your kids but if you are after a romantic escape this may not be the hotel for you. There’s a foam party at 4pm everyday and the DJ yesterday was obnoxiously loud - we had to give up the loungers we had waited hours for because we couldn’t bear the high volume of “Baby Shark” any longer! Negatives - - we have been here 2 days and not one staff member has smiled or greeted us as we’ve come in or out, or strolled around the resort. It is very anonymous. Having stayed in many Vietnamese hotels this is very unusual as the welcomes are usually so warm. - yesterday we came back from the beach and our apartment door was open. The cleaners had been whilst we were out and not shut it behind them. Anyone could have just walked in. This is awful from a security perspective but luckily it seems that nothing had been taken (- I didn’t report it as I don’t want to cause someone to get fired) - both mornings I have used the gym and there have been no towels in there. We have called guest services to ask for more towels and both times they said yes, and both times none came within the hour we were there. Despite this the gym rules state that you must use a towel which makes sense because it gets very hot and sticky in there. It was pretty disgusting having to go on equipment all wet with other people’s sweat but without towels or wipes, that’s the only option. Today also the air conditioning wasn’t working so it was particularly hot in there. - the sliding door to our bathroom doesn’t stay shut. Unless you want it sliding open whilst you’re in the shower you have to wedge something against it. - water pressure in the shower is quite weak. - there are not nearly enough loungers by the pools and at the beach for the number of guests. We went to the pool from 11am yesterday but had to sit in cafe chairs until 4pm when finally we got 2 loungers (between 4 of us) - it’s the first time in a Vietnamese hotel where there haven’t been nice complementary touches like fruit in the room or chocolates/snacks or a note left with room service or even a towel animal or flower on the pillow. This is a small gripe but I have found that to be the standard at almost all hotels from 2* to 5* here. All you get is one bottle of water per person per day and everything else needs to be paid for. The only sign that room service have been in is the bedsheets pulled straight, rubbish emptied, and new towels. - I have always liked to cycle around when I visit the area so I checked that the hotel had complimentary bikes before booking. however, now we’re here they will not let you take the bikes off the resort!! This is so strange as the resort isn’t that big so there is nowhere to ride to. I’m so disappointed that I can’t cycle to local areas. Overall I would say it’s the worst value for money I’ve had at any resort in Vietnam but it does have many positives (beach, breakfast, cleanliness) so I’m sure we’ll enjoy the r
