The front office staff are forever short and behave inconvenienced 24/7. Never a kind word. No offer to accommodate on anything. NO shuttles offered beyond the hospitals. Told to, "call a taxi or Uber." Will continue to stay at the InterContinental Medical Center Houston for all my future trips. Stayed there for 10 days in November. Entire staff was super helpful, accommodating and FABULOUS! Hotel offers a shuttle to all hospitals and other places for shopping and such. The InterContinental Medical Center Houston is clean, comfy, well-furnished, looks elegant, well staffed, and serious about customer service.

Basic hotel for those who need to be close to the hospital”
This hotel is ok if your main purpose is for medical treatment. It is very close to MD Anderson cancer center and a number of other hospitals. The rooms are old though and some of the staff are not service oriented. This Wyndham hotel was acquired and rebranded to Doubletree by Hilton. I hope the service improves under the new management.

They do not offer housekeeping except for every 4 days, if you want clean towels everyday you have to tell them every morning by a certain time and hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones who gets them and no they did not tell me this when I checked in. Not a classy Wyndham like you'd expect.. the staff was great except for 1 man I think he was the supervisor/manager he was very rude to guest and employees.

ASTROWORLD FEST!”
We came to Houston from Dallas for Astroworld Fest, location was great 1.8 miles away from NRG park. Therefore, no Uber was needed. Pizza Hut and Burger King are right in front of the hotel perfect late night snack! Hotel staff were great, rooms were cleaned as well, they gave us a complimentary upgraded for no reason!

Breakfast buffet was so-so, very expensive for what you get. The floor in front of the buffet was sticky. Parking in open parking lot was expensive. Accosted by beggar, but the staff did chase him off after notification. Tap water had some dirt in it, but that may have been Houston water. All in all, for an expensive stay it was marginal. Will try another hotel next time.

Late arrival after hospital visiting hours only to find “no rooms available” despite reservation and confirmation number. This was not an Agoda issue. Wyndham overbooked and wanted to send me to an associated hotel. I refused and booked my own room next door and paid the difference myself to prevent late night travel in cold rainy downtown Houston. 🤯😧

Sticky fingers (staff)”
My friend’s IPad was missing (stolen more like) at the hotel. We reported the frustrated incident to the hotel and police...and magically, the iPad was found and returned to the owner. We all immediately checked out the next day. If you do stay at this hotel, all valuable belongings shouldn’t be left in the room.
