I used the pool access room, and I liked that I could go directly from the room to the pool and return to the room right after swimming. Since the weather was not good, there weren't many people swimming, and the lack of crowd turned out to be a good thing in the end. The food at the restaurant was quite tasty, but it was a bit inconvenient that the pool bar was closed, possibly due to the season, so I had to use the lounge or restaurant instead. However, based on the fact that the pool bar was being renovated on the last day, it seems like it will be open in the summer. Room cleaning was fast, and all the staff were friendly, but I deducted two stars because a bug appeared in the room on the last day. I would consider visiting again.
Booked and payed via Agoda.com. Xiamen Marriott Hotel & Conference charged the same amount once more using the credit card data they got from me when charging the safety deposit. Hotel reception did not answer the phone when I tried to clarify. Beware, seems this hotel is managed in an untrustworthy manner. I will certainly not stay there again.
