    Fantastic”

The hotel was booked on Agoda after cancelling a prior booking for another hotel which reveived some bad reviews. This is one of the nicest hotel experiences in 40 years of travel . For under 200$ USD/night we had a suite with 2 large comfy beds for us and our 2 nine year old girls. Bathroom spotless and huge , with TV in spa tub and separate shower with steam option. Friendly impeccable service. Fantastic restaurant with great Chinese and Western food and very reasonable for this quality hotel. Would give five stars if closer to Bell Tower (only 7 minute walk) , and they don’t hold ccard for incidentals—only 500 RMB deposit after which you have to pay each time for incidentals rather than 1 bill at checkout—a bit inconvenient. Great family hotel for value and service. Would stay again when visiting Xi’an.

Location: the hotel was quite far from the muslim street but there are direct buses u can take from across the street. Service: was good but staff was not able to speak English at all but they made up for it by using translators. and they tried their best to communicate with u. All in all a pleasant stay.

    Strategic, Good Location & Conducive”

    Helpful, Efficient and Good Hotel

This hotel is so closed to all shopping areas and one can use the underpass pedestrians to go Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Muslim Quarters. In front of the hotel take Bus 606 to Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Tang Paradise and across the road take Bus 43 to Silk Road Square to see the starting point of Silk Road. Overall the reception and conceirge are helpful and efficient. This hotel have enough seating area during winter days with proper heating to relax and reading but WiFi is only available in the lobby. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to stay in Xian and dont forget the Terra Cotta's Warriors, it was so breathtaking.

    Clean hotel with lovely rooms”

Location and cleanliness of the room

Enjoyed out stay here. It was very brief however. We arrived at 9pm that night and was gone again by 7.30 the next morning. We were still able to order from the a la carte restaurant at 9.30pm which was nice, and the food was also nice. Had we had more time the location would have been great to explore Xian more.

Great location and room but a bit expensive”

    Central location, nice bathroom

the hotel is located very centrally, only about a 5-10 minute walk from the fashionable underground mall and the bell tower. value wise, it is a tad expensive but generally xian is a very expensive city to visit. the bathroom was great with a tv and a sauna feature. the executive lounge was a bit disappointing in terms of the snacks and drinks available.

    Truly deserves its Five Stars”

    The Staff are fantastic

This hotel is absolutely splendid. The common areas are scrupulously maintained and lend a wonderfully relaxing ambiance. The rooms are large and luxurous with every possible amenity supplied and are as comfortable as any hotel room can be. However, the shining beacon is the staff: in every way the staff outshone any other hotel I have ever stayed in. It seemed that nothing was evet too much trouble, for example, late on the afternoon of departure I was waiting for my train time and sitting in the lobby reading. Without asking for it a young lady brought me a lovely cup of tea. Stay there!

Centrally located, spacious room, good facilities”

    Location

The Grand Noble is on the main street and just a few blocks from the centre of the old city, marked by the Drum Tower. The hotel's spacious lobby featured a live music performance during our stay, enjoyable while we sat and made use of the free wireless internet access. Lots of shopping locally, including a few westsern style supermarkets for the elusive tonic water. The bus stop at the front of the hotel was very convenient when a taxi to the train station was nowhere to be found at the end of our stay. Concierge was knowledgeable and helpful with local information.

    Good price for this hotel”

Location of this hotel was 15 min to Muslim Quarter, Bell Tower and Drum Tower. There is a big shopping mall across the street and there is a supermarket in this mall in the basement. The staff does not speak english so must learn a few Mandarin phrases.

Staff's service is not too professional”

Check-in and check out all took long time to complete the procedure, and the staff at the counter seems not professional with their system. If you pay the hotel in cash, better ask them to provide you the receipt due to they may ask you to pay again when you check out due to they have not organized system.

A very nice and very clean hotel. Room and bathroom was spacious, extremely clean. WC drain got clogged one time though. Nice staff. Beautiful interior. Loved staying there. Very comfortable stay. Walking distance to bell tower and drum tower which is extremely beautiful at night.

Very Nice Hotel But A Bit Dated”

The hotel has a lovely lobby but the rooms are dated. Wifi is good, buffet breakfast has a huge spread with both western and Chinese choices. The fitness room is dated and the weight machine needs to be replaced. One problem I had with the hotel is the air conditioning. If you like very cold you won't get it. There is a limit on how low you can set the AC. Also, I woke up in the middle of the night and it was very warm in the room. It seems the hotel shuts the AC at 2AM and then puts it back on around 6AM. Some of the staff speak a bit of English but not fluent. The hotel is in a very good location with easy walking distance to shopping, Bell and Drum Towers. For the Warriors there is a bus for $1 at the Xian train station. Take bus 611 right in front of hotel and then take bus 306 at the station. Very easy and very cheap.

We were impressed with this hotel and the helpfulness of staff, particularly in the business centre. The location was great for viewing the wall, temples, mosque and street food stalls. The restaurants closeby were well worth a visit too. People in Xi'an are very approachable. Enjoy this historic city.

    Great Room/Comfortable Bed/Lovely Hotel

Really nice hotel. Great room, comfortable bed. Nice to have a bath and a shower in the bathroom. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Lovely bar area and fireplace to have an after dinner drink. Shame our flight into Xi'an was diverted due to bad weather as it meant we were only able to stay one night instead of two.

    Well maintained, large room, bathroom

Location - a bit far out from 'downtown', have to get a cab. Traffic hideous as road works in progress until 2015 or so, according to taxi driver. Air quality not great as a result of this also. Lots of dust in the air. Some shops nearby and eateries. Room - large, clean, comfortable. Hotel exterior seems old, but interior is very well maintained. No WiFi - except in lobby. But LAN access in room - complimentary. Bathroom - contemporary design, clean, large. Staff - helpful except at front desk, who were a bit standoffish. Food - buffet breakfast $138RMB per person. Large selection. Pretty good.

    Tedious”

    Happy Hour, location, coffee

I played front desk to concierge ping-pong for about an hour and a half. Front desk told me to see concierge. Concierge (actually bell boys) said they didn't speak English. So I went back to front desk. They said (in perfect English) only the concierge can help you. Went back to concierge. No English. Finally I gave up after that happened another two times. Second, I asked what shoes I needed to wear in order to get in to a club. Flip-flops were fine (40c outside). After a taxi ride and waiting in line to get in we were turned away for not having the right shoes. Also, the club did let in Chinese wearing the same shoes.
