Very Nice Hotel But A Bit Dated”
The hotel has a lovely lobby but the rooms are dated. Wifi is good, buffet breakfast has a huge spread with both western and Chinese choices. The fitness room is dated and the weight machine needs to be replaced. One problem I had with the hotel is the air conditioning. If you like very cold you won't get it. There is a limit on how low you can set the AC. Also, I woke up in the middle of the night and it was very warm in the room. It seems the hotel shuts the AC at 2AM and then puts it back on around 6AM. Some of the staff speak a bit of English but not fluent. The hotel is in a very good location with easy walking distance to shopping, Bell and Drum Towers. For the Warriors there is a bus for $1 at the Xian train station. Take bus 611 right in front of hotel and then take bus 306 at the station. Very easy and very cheap.

Strategic, Good Location & Conducive”
Helpful, Efficient and Good Hotel
This hotel is so closed to all shopping areas and one can use the underpass pedestrians to go Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Muslim Quarters. In front of the hotel take Bus 606 to Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Tang Paradise and across the road take Bus 43 to Silk Road Square to see the starting point of Silk Road. Overall the reception and conceirge are helpful and efficient. This hotel have enough seating area during winter days with proper heating to relax and reading but WiFi is only available in the lobby. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to stay in Xian and dont forget the Terra Cotta's Warriors, it was so breathtaking.

Clean hotel with lovely rooms”
Location and cleanliness of the room
Enjoyed out stay here. It was very brief however. We arrived at 9pm that night and was gone again by 7.30 the next morning. We were still able to order from the a la carte restaurant at 9.30pm which was nice, and the food was also nice. Had we had more time the location would have been great to explore Xian more.

Lovely Hotel”
Clean, Tidy,
When booking the hotel looked to be close to the airport shuttle, however it was a longer walk than expected. The hotel doesn't really have anything around it and defiantly no view, however the rooms are clean and bright. WiFi is only available in the foyer, however the bar does two-for-one cocktails some nights which take away from the inconvenience of not being able to use the WiFi in the room. We used the spa for a massage which was very relaxing and needed after a day visiting the Terracotta Warriors. On our last day the concierge was able to organise a hotel car to take us to the airport via the Tomb of Emperor Jingdi for not much more than the hire to the airport which was well worth it

Great location and room but a bit expensive”
Central location, nice bathroom
the hotel is located very centrally, only about a 5-10 minute walk from the fashionable underground mall and the bell tower. value wise, it is a tad expensive but generally xian is a very expensive city to visit. the bathroom was great with a tv and a sauna feature. the executive lounge was a bit disappointing in terms of the snacks and drinks available.

Staff's service is not too professional”
Check-in and check out all took long time to complete the procedure, and the staff at the counter seems not professional with their system. If you pay the hotel in cash, better ask them to provide you the receipt due to they may ask you to pay again when you check out due to they have not organized system.

Hotel Is Not 5 Stars”
The hotel is advertised as a 5 star hotel but it definitely is not. The location is excellent - walking distance to metro and the Bell and Drum Towers. Lobby is very nice but the rooms are very dated. The fitness room equipment is very old. Whenever you mention any problem to the staff they immediately tell you the hotel is 20 years old. To me that is not an answer. Buffet breakfast is plentiful with many choices both western and Chinese but I was not thrilled with the taste of the Chinese offerings but that is probably just me. Chinese guests seemed to enjoy. I also was told that if I wanted something printed it would be $1.50 a page which I found irritating when staying at a "5 Star hotel".

grand desire.”
We were impressed with this hotel and the helpfulness of staff, particularly in the business centre. The location was great for viewing the wall, temples, mosque and street food stalls. The restaurants closeby were well worth a visit too. People in Xi'an are very approachable. Enjoy this historic city.

Superb Hotel”
Great Room/Comfortable Bed/Lovely Hotel
Really nice hotel. Great room, comfortable bed. Nice to have a bath and a shower in the bathroom. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Lovely bar area and fireplace to have an after dinner drink. Shame our flight into Xi'an was diverted due to bad weather as it meant we were only able to stay one night instead of two.

Comfortable stay”
Well maintained, large room, bathroom
Location - a bit far out from 'downtown', have to get a cab. Traffic hideous as road works in progress until 2015 or so, according to taxi driver. Air quality not great as a result of this also. Lots of dust in the air. Some shops nearby and eateries. Room - large, clean, comfortable. Hotel exterior seems old, but interior is very well maintained. No WiFi - except in lobby. But LAN access in room - complimentary. Bathroom - contemporary design, clean, large. Staff - helpful except at front desk, who were a bit standoffish. Food - buffet breakfast $138RMB per person. Large selection. Pretty good.

Tedious”
Happy Hour, location, coffee
I played front desk to concierge ping-pong for about an hour and a half. Front desk told me to see concierge. Concierge (actually bell boys) said they didn't speak English. So I went back to front desk. They said (in perfect English) only the concierge can help you. Went back to concierge. No English. Finally I gave up after that happened another two times. Second, I asked what shoes I needed to wear in order to get in to a club. Flip-flops were fine (40c outside). After a taxi ride and waiting in line to get in we were turned away for not having the right shoes. Also, the club did let in Chinese wearing the same shoes.

Very nice luxurious hotel for the money”
Location, luxury, value for money
The Grand Noble hotel was very nice and located centrally in Xian. The staff were attentive and tried to help as much as possible with limited english. The only thing I would recommend or point out is the fact of the beds being rock hard. I woke up and was sore each morning due to the beds being so hard. The room was very nice and the hotel overall was very good value for money. I believe it was a little expensive for Chinese standards, but for less than $90 USD/night, it worked great for us and what we wanted to see.

Enjoyed our stay”
Location, comfortable bed, good staff
We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed them very much. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed (quite an asset for a hotel in China). The bathroom had a nice tub in addition to shower, as well as all the amenities. My husband even used the small gym. The location was great. Room service was quick on another night.

Great hotel and good service.”
Like the cafe (yummy cafe) and the bathroom was good too.
The hotle is at the centre of the city, its convecient to get to places. The hotel had good service and the room was up to 4 star standard. the bathroom was clean and spacious. The front desk sugested that we have a twin bedroom cause we had a 25month old child. We could push the two beds together and it was great because it was bigger than a queen size bed (which we fist wanted). Had a great cafe in the lobby which we had dinner there few times. It was a great place overall and would definately go back there again.
