Best hostel in Ximen”
I always stay here everytime I visit Taipei, Taiwan! Disclaimer: there's a club/music bar at the lower floor and sometimes you can hear them in the rooms. Still I would stay here though. Love them!

It is near exit 6 if Ximen station. It is located in Ximending, a famous nighlife spot in Taipei. I booked it with my mother and niece, the place is nice for me and the location is great. However, I think the hostel is more suited for solo or couple backpacker and not for a family because the hostel is not that big and you will join other travellers in a dormitory type room. It is a great value for money because of its location.

Pro: Location, friendly staffs Cons: Bed hard as rock, flat pillow, toilet stinks (they try to cover with lots of air freshener), noise from KTV,no WiFi in room, limited shower and toilets for the number of beds they have., lack of cleanliness

Big common area for use and good location. Friendly staff. The only drawback to me is the shower room a bit squeezy.

Location is good. Singing from the 6th floor was not a problem to us but the closing of the door from other room mates was a big no no. Every time the door closes, our bed tremble causing us having no sleep for 2 nights. We check out one day earlier in the end

The place was nice. Located in Ximen Ding which was convenient. Clean bed, slightly dirty washroom, nice staff. However, the room was very noisy due to the karaoke room in the 7th floor.

I couldn't sleep because the doors were shutting so loudly every time someone entered and exited the room. Room a bit small considering the number of people. Besides that - everything ok and very nice atmosphere.

Pros: near mrt, cheap price Cons: dirty, especially the shared bathroom. poor service and instruction, even the telephone number in confirmation email was wrong. check in staff looks sloppy, so does his work.

Superb Hostel in Ximending!”
I've enjoyed my vacation in Taiwan, and this is partially due to me staying at this hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful on things to do around. The location is great as well; three minutes away from Ximen station in the buzzing Ximending district. Rooms, showers, kitchen are nice, clean, and functional. For solo travelers it's also nice since you'll be able to meet a lot of fellows travelers. Should I come back to Taipei and look for affordable yet excellent hostel service, I'll stay at Ximen WoW Hostel.

Awesome place to stay!”
I’m glad we chose this hostel. It’s located right on ximending night market, it’s very accessible to everything you’ll ever need & MRT is just a few steps away. The hostel has a very homey vibe to it & feels nice to just hangout in the lobby or veranda. The facilities are clean and the rooms are comfortable, it doesn’t feel like we’re with a lot of people in the room as the thick curtains & divisions provide privacy. We also got to meet awesome people while at the hostel & the staff are friendly. The lockers are very secure too. We felt safe staying in Ximen Wow & very much enjoyed our stay here. Can’t complain about anything. We’ll definitely stay here again if we visit taipei again someday!😸

First time to try a hostel! <3”
This is our first time to try a hostel and we really enjoyed staying here. The people here were so nice and accommodating. For breakfast; bread, ham and egg is available for you to prepare. Tea, coffee and instant milk tea are also available. :) The location is fantastic! 3mins away from Ximending Station Exit 6. Will definitely stay here again when I comeback. Thanks Ximen Wow hostel for the great stay! :)
