"The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help me. I left my bag in the taxi on the way there. They helped me get it back! Someone put a child lock on the tv, so they offered to give me another room immediately. The hot spring in the room was heavenly. The breakfast staff was so accommodating. I was on a business trip. I was very pleased with the neighborhood. There were many choices of restaurants and coffee shops near by. It was a pleasant walk from the MRT to the hotel. My room was on the first floor and I could see the sunset. I wish I had booked a higher floor for an even better view! Definitely would like to visit again. Perfect if you are doing business in that part of Taipei!"

"this hotel suited us fine. nice room, quite modern and very clean. reasonable breakfast on the 8th floor, a coffee shop on the ground floor. no restaurant facilities or bar. a good place to stay if you are just looking for a base starting point to see the sites, good value, staff very friendly. location is a bit out of town at the end of the xindian line, just 50 yards from the mrt station, so very convenient for access to taipei. no train or road traffic noise. our room had a view of the xindian river."

"A nice clean hotel situated close to many shops and eateries. MRT is only two minutes walk away and buses and taxis are readily available. Staff are helpful and friendly but don’t expect them all to speak English. The only negative was the breakfast which was in an annexe speared from the hotel. If you are happy with toast and cereal it’s fine but the other food was always cold even when freshly put out. There are however numerous local places to get breakfast although not many open over the Chinese New Year period. I would stay there again."

"Value for money, huge room and nice and clean. However, the hallway where my room was stunk of cigarette smoke. My room was clean and smelled great though. Food was very 'Eastern', more western options would have been nice like Bacon, Eggs and Toast. Coffee was good though. Staff made me stand outside their office when I was being booked in, and I was not invited in. One thing I found out about 'Motels' in Taiwan. The Taiwanese view motels as places for cheating husbands to bring their mistresses. So, the business that I was visiting were horrified to find out that I was staying at a motel. However, in New Zealand where I am from motels are normal. I would stay there again if I had to."

"The hotel is a reasonable 5-7 minute walk from the metro train at Xindian. You walk across the suspension bridge to get there, through two charming little neighborhoods with ample street food. Very safe and pleasant. The hotel serves an amazing breakfast, and there are all sorts of food options for other meals at every price point. There was not heat in the hotel, and it was winter, so there was a chill in my room the first day, but they brought a heat lamp and that helped, did not need it after day three. I would recommend the hotel to others and I would stay there again. My only regrets were the lack of any gym, but with the walking and steps all around in the community, you get exercise in the course of a day."

"I put down 3 stars for value of money only because I stayed over on New Year's Eve and it was quite expensive (which probably went towards the free champagne and fruits as welcome gift). I'd probably give it a higher rating, because the hotel is very new and its room was spacious. The design of the room was simple and modern, with a huge desk and (king?) size bed, which reminded me of American hotels. Here comes the best part! The size of bathroom is about one third of the whole bedroom, with its bathtub isolated from the shower room. The bathroom is see-through but you can definitely put the curtains down if you're traveling with a friend. Otherwise, enjoy the hot tub and have fun!"
