Best Hotel Ever”
I have been travelling all the time. This hotel is for sure the best one i have stayed in! there are a lot of reasons for that: - it is my first time seeing a hotel with flexible breakfast time! no matter what time you wake up in the morning or if you prefer a morning walk you can always have that at a later time. i had mine at 12 sth for one day! - their staff were the friendliest staff i have ever seen. They speak very good English and their managers are also very helpful in any ways! - they had prepared me a little surprise on my birthday during my stay! they prepared me a birthday cake and it was the sweetest thing ever! thank you so much! - everything in the hotel was very clean! - their spa service is also exceptional! - amazing location! - their food in the two restaurants were very tasty! a lot of choices too! Perfect stay and surely will come back! :) thank you so much!

Living 3 years in Yangon we wanted to have a lottle staycation and knowing alot of hotels from drinks/dinners/brunch/friends the amazing price of this place, its history and design totally convinced us. The rooms are super spacious. Bed more than comfortable (heaven) service and staff beyond our expectations and breakfast delicious. All in all... Spend less on crappy souvenirs and spend as many nights as you can in this fantastic Gem in the heart of Yangon.

Due to us arriving at Yangon at early in the morning,Excelsoir gave us a quite reasonable price for us to check in at 3 am, which even cheaper than the 8 am early check-in price that Agoda offered. The facilities are new and clean. Staff offered warm and comfortable service during the whole stay. My husband really appreciated the breakfast! Excelsior made the first perfect impression for our first time traveling to Myanmar. Definitely will pick here again!

Almost flawless. One of the nicest hotel we've ever been in”
For those who love hotels situated on historical buildings, this one is for you. Great location. Within walking distance to Sule Pagoda and the cluster of historical buildings from the colonial days. Interior decoration and rooms are impeccable. Only flaw is that the room we stayed in has the air conditioning vent facing the bedhead. Should be easily rectifiable though. Breakfast is fully serviced by waiters dressed as if they are from 1930s. One day we were even drunk before 10am.

I stayed in Yangon Excelsior back in Feb 2020 and it was a pleasant stay. Love the room and the breakfast! Room is clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful too and they prepared a birthday cake for my boyfriend :)

Elegant, refined, with top-notch bedding, linens and breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly & accommodating, offering a local shuttle to nearby restaurants. Their restaurnat recommendations were excellent! A divine respite from the heat and hustle bustle of the city. Conveniently located near the Platinum shopping center for those of you looking for local Thai wares in 6 floors of local businesses.

Gorgeous Hotel, Incredible Service”
Discovered it by chance and it turned out to be one of the best stays ever. It doesn't have a pool and it's located in a small street (in the central Colonial area). Everything else is just fantastic. Beautifully renovated and decorated it has the most incredibly attentive staff. It's clean to the point we could eat on the floor, has a free mini-bar and they bend over backwards to do what you want. Decoration is a colonial style that matches the renovation of the building. We went as two couples and everyone adored this hotel. Words don't do it justice, but we will be back for sure!

Great experience in a beautiful building that combines old and contemporary styles. I only stayed for a night but there was not a single thing that I did not enjoy or was not impressed during my short stay. I felt so welcomed by the hotel when I found the letter on the vintage typewriter as I went into the room. The friendly staff is a huge plus. I also liked that the hotel was eco friendly.

superlative hotel experience in every possible way. colonial building amazingly refurbished to modern comfort. state of the art facilities and finishing. central location in the colonial quarter, near the river front. staff was extremely competent and friendly. breakfast was fabulous.

I came here for vacation . I didn't know myself what I'm looking for , I keep on changing Hotel. This is 4th hotel. After I reach here I found "Satisfication and Relax." Facilities are super nice . Very very clean ,well maintainance and good house keeping. Quality hot and cold water.,sound proof room with quiet cool aircon ,friendly and helpful staff. Flexible timing; early check in and late chekout and can have breakfast from 6 am to until luntilunchtime.. I believe You have good hotel experience but I suggest You to try this hotel also.

Great value for money ”
Gorgeous hotel. It's located right in the city. The rooms are thoughtfully done up. We had an extra person in our room and the hotel staff made sure there were 3 sets of everything. We also had the opportunity to have dinner there and the food was great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Yangon Excelsior is an outstanding hotel in many ways - the location is bang, slap downtown; the building has history and a sense of it - it has been stylishly refurbished retaining many period features while being utterly contemporary; the staff are both highly professional and warm - attentive without being imposing (at reception they remembered my name - and used it); the restaurant and coffee shop are great places to spend time in and well worth visiting even if you are not a hotel guest (the chef is a real find); there are touches here that are seldom found (e.g. antique typewriters and phones); overall the place is cool, serene and oozes class. One suggestion: please pay more attention to the quality of the coffee - but this is a mere quibble and not a complaint. We are already looking forward to our next visit. So should you!

Stunning hotel in the centre of downtown. We stayed during Thingyan but despite a lot of places being closed the hotel was a welcome reprieve from the heat and water festival. Great location, beautiful hotel, amazing food.
