Interesting Hotel”
I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Thai Embassy. The Yangon International needs lots of repair--- In may ways it is crumbling. When it was new, it must have been the "talk of the town!" But it is still charming. It is a bizarre blend of various decors including turn-of-the century Parisian Art Nouveau, which dominates the facility. Prints by Mucha are everywhere. This theme seems out-of-place for SE Asia, but it is fun! The funky rooftop bar has an excellent view of the city. The hotel is right across the street from the lovely "Peoples' Park," and is walking distance to Shwedagon Pagoda, the Myanmar National Museum, as well as Ocean Supercenter. Though the Yangon International is far from being luxurious, it is clean, the staff are friendly, and it offers an eccentric, unique hotel experience. If you are looking for something offbeat, this is the place!

Perfect for Shwedagan Pagoda”
This is s pretty soulless hotel. Vast reception area, but little interaction with staff. Apart from a breakfast room it appears not to have a restaurant. I choose the hotel for its closeness to the Shwedagan pagoda (10 minutes walk) as I wished to get to the Pagoda before dawn and again before sunset. Importantly it has a large parking area and easy access for cars. Bed very comfortable and ample breakfast. Also tea/coffee in room and importantly air conditioning. Wifi was variable but one could get close to a router for better reception. Given the size of rooms it is probably reasonable value, but a tad expensive for Burma.

Staff Performance, Good Japanese food!”
My stay was good because they got good Japanese food in the hotel and staff are very kind. I will definitely stay here again but the hotel is a bit expensive for its class. I know lots of Japanese goes to hotel right beside it due to the differentiation in price.

Good location with a reasonable price”
This lovely hotel is located at good location & they've almost everything such as KTV, Bar, Restaurants, Hair Salon & Night Club. Their room are very spacious but reasonable price compares to Summit Park View Hotel. Their staffs are also friendly & helpful.

good location, large room, bad bkf”
Good location and close to everything. Twa win center and shwe dagon is in walking distance. people's park and culture valley shopping center is nearby. Room is large, but I saw cockroaches. Air-con in the roon didn't work well either. breakfast is in JP style but bad, not fresh, too salty. Lobby is good in high ceiling and deco, but usually no people in the counter to serve, like when I was checking in in the morning. Nobody there and no one to help luggages. Rooftop is skype bar, good view and good for a drink after a day. the water flow is just too small when shower. Hard to wash hair especially my hair is long. in short, good for location only.

Although the hotel is very big size, do not expect they have full facilities like other 4-5 stars hotel. Very limited facilities like below 3 stars range. No pool, no gym, no kitchen, no biz center, etc... But location is very good. Nice and quite place. A few good restaurants and night club are around the hotel. Rooms are quite big and kept clean well. Hotel roof top bar is vary nice. Beautiful Pagoda view and good to sit in evening. It value for money.

I'm looking forward to open bars, wine bar, top roof bar and golf bar, in second week of Dec. But there are good restaurant and cafe near the hotel. I had good time and foods at La Taverna restaurant and Black Canyon Cafe.

Adequate”
International is the wrong word for this hotel.It is old, the room refurbishment has been a great improvement, but still no coffee or tea in the rooms (only chinese tea) Wi Fi in rooms is pretty good. Breakfst, well better not talk about , very avearge.No bacon, tomatoes etc. But there are some good restaurants in the grounds for other meals. This is maybe a 3 star hotel, no bar, amenities very average & compared to other Asian countries (maybe except Singapora) very expensive for what is delivered. Just satisfactory, but with new competition coming (eg Novotel being built)without massive attitude & amenities upgrade will do a starve

A great location near famous land mark”
The lobby was under innovation and there was no door man to help with the luggage in the evening. The breakfast is average and nothing stand out. The hotel seems quiet and not exciting place to be. However, the room is quite large and all facilities are very good for its price.

One Nice Hotel”

Good location closer to ShweDagon Pagoda and closer to CBD area. Lot of eating and drinking options within the hotel campus. Rooms were not worth the USD 80 per night price tag. Complementary breakfast was shockingly bad and lack of food options.

This hotel is reputed for their traditional Myanmar massage and definitely worth a shot to try the service after a long working day. Nice restaurant, coffee place, pubs & disco are just 2 minutes walk around the hotel.

Run down, but the room was nice”
This must have been a very beautiful hotel once. Now it I very run down except for the rooms (or at least the room I had). It was clean and had a nice view although I did not want to step out on the dirty balcony. The neighbourhood is not very exciting unless you like the nearby nightclub.

Not value for money”
Nothing worth the price tag. No food service or ice bucket after hour and no door man to take care of taxi. Hotel exterior are old near to closing condition. Old carpets, main door and old towel are what I can remember. curtain in room cant operate and toilet are old not worth the price paid. Dont be fool by photos advertised. You will be disappointed on arriving.

Excellent location. Good property. Bad management. Zero service. ”
We booked this hotel for a Sunday. On arrival we heard as it’s Sunday there is only one staff. Check in. Reception. Security. Bell boy all rolled in one. Two of the 3 restaurants were closed. They said no housekeeping staff on Sunday so we did not get even water in room. Had to buy from only one functional bar / restaurant. Property location is fantastic. Rooms are unbelievably large and well furnished. Bed was comfortable. It’s just poor management. May be owner should think of engaging a renowned operator to provide acceptable quality of service. To reach reception you need to pass through a bar in service. They somehow managed to provide us a packed breakfast when we left at 6.30 am which is really appreciated. Overall till management changes I will not recommend anyone to spoil there holiday by staying here.
