A most unique Wildlife Farmstay in Australia set in a 100ac Conservation Sanctuary, Yelverton Brook Wildlife Farmstay and Eco Spa has a very friendly Australian wildlife visiting the doorstep of your private spa chalet. Special feed is provided for the wildlife. Guests can find kangaroos and birdlife by day, and amazing critically endangered miniature 20 centimeters tall woylies (kangaroos), bandicoots, and possums by night. Turn on the lights and they will come and visit your door. The entire 100acs is protected from predators like cats and foxes so the wildlife can thrive in safety.
Each chalets has its own private 6 person hot tub spa under the stars. Chalets are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundry facilities. Even spice racks and olive oil for the gas barbeque is supplied.
Offering 1 bedrooms with 4 poster bed or 2 bedroom chalets with 2 x queens & double sofa in lounge area.
Guests can meander through walk trails with picnic sites within the sanctuary. Only 15mins from Margaret River, Busselton, and Dunsborough, a very central location.

Amazing homestay”
It was the perfect getaway for my friend and I. Take away your cellphones and enjoy the tranquil nature, you will be pleasantly surprised when a few visitors will unexpectedly pop by outside chalet porch poking their noses around. The place itself was charming and rustic and I've never felt more comfortable and peaceful. Also another experience not to be missed is to stargaze while soaking inside the hot tub on a starry night. The hosts, Simon and Joy were such lovely people and always a short drive away if you need them. I have nothing but great memories of Yelverton Brook Wildlife Farmstay and Eco Spa and I will come back in a heartbeat when I visit Margaret River again.

A wonderful nature experience”
We had a wonderful two night stay. The retreat is just 10 minutes drive from Margaret River town so very peaceful. The cabin was spacious with everything we needed. We shopped at the local deli, butchers, grocers, the quality of food was excellent and cooked all at the cabin. Obviously the best thing about the retreat is the wildlife. As soon as the sun was going down, we had a family of 4 kangaroos arrive, they were extremely friendly and not shy. It is hard not to just stare at the animals the whole time, they are so adorable. We also had possums and the endangered bettongs. Lovely addition of the outdoor spa. Highly recommend this place.

Joy and Simon have thought of everything. Every item you can desire is in the kitchen. The local eggs and milk are divine. A cabin in the quiet woods surrounded by pet wildlife. We could not get enough of the kangaroos and possums and bilbys! Close to margaret river and the lighthouses that they can be day trips and you can make great food and spend your mornings and evenings with the animlas and stars. Made our trip to Perth complete, only wish we stayed longer!

A truly different experience”
Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location and truly great experience of wildlife joining us for breakfast and supper on the deck.The chalet had all (human) creature comforts. In our short stay we did not have time to use the BBQ or the spa so give yourself time for all of this.

An absolutely magical experience in a wonderful bush setting, surrounded by the most adorably friendly native wildlife. A truly romantic getaway that includes a luxurious spa under the stars... Priceless!

The chalet was clean, well laid out and had everything we needed for our stay. It was like being in the bush, very quiet, the wildlife was amazing to see. So dark at night, you could see so many more stars and a few satellites. We'll be back.
Even better than expected”
Both the cottage and the animals far exceeded expectations. We were prepared for a more rustic environment but were very happy to find a thoroughly modern, clean and well appointed place. Everything from great beds, to spa robes, to fully stocked spices, pans and tools in the kitchen. There's even a big selection of games, books and movies if needed. And the animals, well, we knew they would be tame but not so thoroughly friendly. Roos were around constantly in early morning and dusk into dark. We pet them (and they grabbed at us, when feeding!), while the woylies tore around the yard in the evenings. Possums stayed on the feeders but did let my wife pet them a bit, a bandicoot made a couple of quick cameos and a couple of parrots hung around in the mornings. The whole things was amazing and surreal in the best sense of the word. Hope to come back some day.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage nestled in the forest. Kangaroos and other wildlife visited us every day and night. We didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful setting with the animals coming right up to your door step. Very cozy chalet and the caretakers were very kind. We asked for the fresh baked bread and were also supplied with eggs, milk and butter, not to mention tea/coffee etc and oil for the BBQ. The spa was fantastic. Would definitely like to comeback with another couple or the kids next time

Impressed with the well equipped and cosy resort. Kengaroos right at doorstep day and night. Other animals also pop by now and then for feeds. Kids love it! Fully enjoyed the stay. would have stayed longer if not for the high price.

Lovely 2 nights' stay ”
The chalet is an excellent getaway, especially for city dwellers like us. There are only 5 chalets so it was very quiet and nice. We had an amazing time and were surprised by how close we could get to the 3 kangaroos, 2 possums, bandicoot and woylie that visited us. My 4-year old son was absolutely thrilled to see them everyday and couldn't stop talking about his stay there. Thank you Joy and Simon!

A honeymoon with nature ”
A family get together or a honeymoon away from the city.. This was a really warm and homely feel . The kangaroos were non aggressive. The beautiful night sky. The host was warm and friendly and made it feel like nothing could go wrong... Thank you for opening up this lovely place to us, the honeymooners...
Great getaway for family”
Fantastic stay with our two girls (aged 5 & 7). They loved the animals in the evening and morning. The Kangaroos come up to the house and so did the Wylies t night. Make sure you get lots of animal food for them and order the home made bread....oh so good!!!
Holiday”
When we booked the place;; we have no idea what to expect. We drove straight from the airport after we landed. Reached there early am. We were allowed to check in early, showered and out we go again; searching for food. We were so happy to see so many Kangaroos and up close and personal. We drove around going from vineyard to vineyard to drink and eat. Everyday's an adventure. The sea is beautiful and gorgeous. We planned to come back again with the kids soon. Really enjoy and love the place. Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely stay. Two nights with friendly kangaroos and woylies on our doorstep. Beautiful birds as well. Very friendly owners and nice clean chalet. It had everything we needed.
