Lovely place to stay at”

The owners were so warm and welcoming that they even gave us free grapefruits when we checked out. They were also quite encouraging and helpful when you needed information (such as directions or recommendations for activities). The restrooms were decent, and the rooms were nice and roomy. The scenery was spectacular; in the early morning, you could even see buffaloes. The small garden that sits in front of the rooms is very attractive. Not to be overlooked are the excellent meals the proprietors prepare. Although they cost for meals, I believe they were worth it.
It wasn't particularly awful at all. I simply believe that adding little refrigerators to the rooms may be a smart idea. I thought the bed was fine, however my partner felt it was a little firm. Other than them, nothing was wrong.

The place is great. It has two bedrooms managed by a Vietnamese farmer. He is the most welcoming man. He will treat you as if you were family. Whether it is for food recommendations or anything. If you arrive early (4-5 am) he will still welcome you. If you want to pay a meal (dinner/lunch) he will make it himself and it is a treat of a Vietnamese home meal. The place is surrounded by moutains and rice farms so it is very peaceful.
It might be a bit far from Tam Coc but it really isn't a problem. Maybe the bed might feel uncomfortable for some.

We were locked out by the owners with no notice, when we came back from exploring, because they stepped away, they locked the gate, did not let us know and left. we were left waiting in the hot sun/afternoon with our 7 month old

We had amazing food and stayed at a beautiful location. The host was very nice and we often sat with him for tea. It was easily accessible by motorbike while still being next to many mountains.

Ninh Binh's hidden gem - a cozy, green cove.”

Truly a hidden little gem in Ninh Binh - Yen Binh's homestay was exceptionally maintained. The family was immensely helpful and warm. While they helped us with recommendations over the course of our stay, what truly stood out was the food! Delicious breakfast, and absolutely yummy dinner. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well stocked. Nestled between mountains and untouched rice farms - the place cuts you away from the bourgeoning tourism you'll see all over Ninh Binh. Highly recommend!
