Location: North Point, not HKG Islands finest address, BUT very convenient by MTR (Fortress Hill Stop)(OceanPark to the GuestHouse in under 20 min for less than 10HKD!), Bus (Airport Bus to the Airport just outside the GuestHouse enterence), Tram, Mini-Bus & Taxi Staff: Very friendly and speak good English Cleanliness: OK, no problems. Bathroom and shower BIG, lots of hot water. (We had a room to ourselves) Facilities: For the price, excellent. Good FREE WiFi, in-room TV could have had more channels – but who goes to HKG to watch TV?

As a female solo traveler on budget, Yesinn@Fortress Hill is a great choice since first place. Did not take hostel in the tourist central cause get stuck with peoples offering you hostel in crowded mansion area is the last thing you expect after a long flight. Yesinn@Fortress Hill is easy to find, close to MTR, buss stop and a comfy place to have a nice good sleep. The Mansion keeper (not Yesinn@Fortress Hill employee) does not speaks English but do not get confused, just tell you want to go to yesinn, get in the lift and go to the receptionist on 15th floor.

With the price I've paid, it is totally worth it! Pretty comfortable and clean. I paid for a 8 person mixed dorm and I felt totally private since the bunk beds were given curtains. And each individual bed is supplied with electrical port for you to charge your gadgets and a night lamp, just in case of night reading or forward planning. In the common lounge, they provided a desktop w internet free for browsing and hot boiler for hot water in case of late night ramen. So, if you decided to choose Yesinn, it is located at Fortress Hill (B exit) turn to your right, walk straight until you find 7 Eleven. Next to it, is the Continental Mansion. Ask the guard for Yesinn, and he will tell you the floor you should go. And finally, Enjoy your stay and have fun in HK!

Pleasant stay at Yesinn @Fortress Hill”
Our stay at Yesinn @Fortress Hill was a pleasant experience. The bedroom size and bathroom size were okay. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. Shout out to the nice Pinoy staff, Ate Lyn and Kuya Nelson who were helpful with our questions and patient with our requests. This is a good place to stay if you and your family want to be practical and if you really plan to just have a decent place to sleep and take a bath since most of the time you'll be going out and around Hong Kong. It's a 5-minute walk to and from the Fortress Hill MTR station, which is 2 stations away from Causeway Bay. It's also convenient to go to and from the airport via the A11 Bus. Nearby are establishments like 7-11, Watsons, McDonald's, KFC and Starbucks. That said, we'll definitely be staying here again!

Friendly staff and comfortable environment”
I had an early flight and arrived at the hotel at 7.30am. Planned to only put my luggage at the hotel and go to walk around first before the check in time at 2pm. However, the staff allowed me to early check in! This was so great as I managed to have time to rest in the room first! Other than that, noted there are daily housekeeping of the room to ensure the cleanliness of the washroom for the dorm. Hotel is a bit far from the town and it required some time to travel to Central and to Kowloon, though the hotel is about 7 minutes walk away from the nearest MTR station - Fortress Hill and you can take tram too, which is just opposite the MTR. Overall, it is great value for money and I will stay again next round when I am in Hong Kong. Will try the single room which looks great too when I happened to have a peek during the housekeeping.

Yesinn@Fortess Hill ”
I arrived from Shenzhen on the 18th July 2015 to Hong Kong. I really liked Yesinn. Although, I had a little trouble finding it via subway over time it became easy to find. The bed were ok to sleep on but I would like to comment about the wifi in the bedroom. It didn't work on my notebook but on my phone.

It was nice...id say if im coming to hk again. I wud still stay in that building...d elevator is functioning well...friendly staff... Great acccommodation even in dormtype :) and one thing that makes it a good hotel is its proximity to mtr fortress hill station :) i arrived there during the night and i didnt find it hard looking for my hotel :) definitely recommended..

North point is a relatively quite place but meantime causeway bay is also reachable by taking tramp. It's a very nice experience by taking the tramp. Victoria Park is nearby, about 15 mins walking, if you want to have a morning jog. I highly recommend for those who want a more peaceful and less crowded place. And also if you want to experience the local people lifestyle this is a good choice.

location! location ! location!”
i have stayed here twice now - once a year ago, and then 3 nights last week. It just seems to get better and better. - the staff is one of the most helpful that i have interacted with in my entire last year of travelling worldwide. This neighborhood has great places to eat, shop, and the transportation by tram, bus, and subway could not be easier. My latest infatuation is the Espirit Factory Outlet a few blocks up on Kings Rd. - dumping winter sweaters for 19 hong kong dollars each!!! The dorms are a bit cramped, but always clean, and the people who stay here are a nice crowd. Probably the best air conditioned female dorm price in hong kong?.

The staff are helpful & room & shower clean!”
The staff were brilliant as I had problems with my i-phone and no other method of communication to contact my fiancé to make some emergency arrangements. They let him call me on their mobile phone which was such a relief. The female dorm had clean bedding and shower and though a bit noisy it was nice to be with other people and not on my own. The location on Hong Kong island is very convenient - easy access to everything!

I didn't know Yesinn@Fortress Hill has two accomodations.I was introduced to the second one where is located in front of the MTR station.The room was like what I expected. Bad thing was there was no tea/coffee service.

Enjoy for short business trip for work and sleep. Good staff and speaks English. Please inform in your confirmation form that Yesinn@Fortress Hill can be accessed from HK Airport by A11 Bus for HK$ 40 only. Easy.

Yesinn @ FortressHill Exceeded My Expectations”
I loved my stay at Yesinn@FortressHill !! The building (Continental Mansions) was easy to find and it was near bus stops and MTR. The reception staff were efficient and friendly. The room was clean, no bad smell. There's free coffee and tea in the pantry. Free wi-fi. Free use of flat iron and board. I was lucky because most of my room mates were nice :)

This hostel has a great location, its near the metro station and they have many good food around! But compare to the YESINN in causeway bay, i think that one would be a better choice! Anyway! Not bad!!

This is my second time staying with Yesinn. They have rooms around the area, so you might have to walk to other buildings after checking in. Their rooms are small but it's what I need - I only needed a place with nice toilet and a comfortable bed.

Expected value for the price”
Note that there are only locals in Fortress Hill, and the area is full of students going to and coming back from school. The hostel is pretty close to the metro station. The entire place reeked of chlorine, which I suppose is better than smelling nasty. You have to pay 10 HKD + 20 HKD deposit to rent bleach-stained towels. My bed sheets also had suspicious stains on it. Overall, it was okay value for the money I paid.

Overpriced hostel”
Be sure to clarify where it is and have the address handy. This hostel is located in a midrise and there is absolutely no signage until you venture to the 15th floor of a nondescript building. I wish I could say something better about this pace other than its a low-priced option not far from the metro. In a more residential area, there aren't many obvious options later into the evening. Staff were cold. No hello, thank you or goodbyes. It'll cost you to rent a towel, even if you choose a private room. Beds are elevated palettes. Oh, here's a good thing: comfy pillows. If you can stand the smell of conger eel and dirty mop water, then you'll be just fine. Wifi is good and it's not as tiny as other places you'll pay more for. I'd advise one of the "Mini-Hotel" options for updated accommodations and better service. There are a few locations of them around town. 5 min walk from fortress hill metro. Stop at tin hua for better dining options.
