Like no other, Yesterday Hotel is, in many ways, representing the influential era of Thai identity during the mid-80s. The most impressive thing about the hotel might not only be its superb convenient location in the heart of the hip city center area, Nimmanhaemin, where hundreds of chic cafes and small shops are, but it would also be the sum of its elements and services that are inspired by the good old days. The building itself was long known as an international kindergarten and has been renovated into the 25-room boutique hotel it is today. The antique furnishings from decorative lamps to non-identical handicraft beds in each room simply remind the visitors of such an era of Thai children, culture, and nationalism. All services such as free Wi-Fi, electronic door locks, bicycle rentals, a safety box, hair dryer, complimentary herbal hot drinks, and 24-hour front desk together with many other amenities and services come as standard in the deluxe room types and higher-end rooms. Please enter your preferred dates of stay and submit our online booking form to make a reservation at Yesterday Hotel.

This is a pretty cool hotel. Something really different than the "same-ol..same ol" kind of place. These folks put a lot of thought and work into this place and it is fabulous. The details just amaze you. Thanks so much Yesterdays! Chiang Mai is fun, but your hotel is the best part of the trip.
Location is good, walkable to One Nimman and Maya, new shopping centers in town. Good parking space, room is not big but enough space and clean. Snack bar is free with bottles of water which is realky nice. Reception lady was kind to call us when the room was ready to check in before time.
Great little hotel in a deceptively good location”
We’re a professional couple looking for a split stay between Nimmana and Old City areas and decided on Yesterday because of the charm offered. It didn’t disappoint. Rooms were precisely as shown on Agoda and checkin was simple. We didn’t book breakfast but we’re iffered it anyway, which was a welcome plus. Location was excellent and only 5-8 mins walk to the Maya mall and all that area has to offer. The only drawback is noise from departing aircraft. That can’t be helped by the property and to be fair all places around there wil suffer. F16s doing circuits was not pleasant ! Facilities lost points because there is no international TV worth watching. Although the staff tried to retune the TV it only picked up Aljaeera, DW and RT. In 21st century with internet as good as it is there’s no reason not to have more on offer. Bed was slightly hard for our taste but that’s subjective. Clean, quaint and overall a good stay.
The hotel itself is located in the heart of Nimman. It’s a historical building. It’s a nice first impression. That changed when entering the Deluxe room. It was shocking dark. I managed to change the room. It was a little better but as all windows are just wood apart from one single half with glas it stays a darkroom. Electric light is always needed. The interior is simple as you would have expected it to be 100 years ago. Still authentic and charming in it‘s way (the reason to chose this hotel). Apart from the bathroom where there was mold at the completely blocked window. Mattress was broken on one side. Luckily I travelled alone and used the other side. Aircon was loud so I switched it off as often as possible. TV is nicely build in an antique cover yet misses any international channels. You will hear the neighbors TV as well. There is a cattle but coffee , tee or sugar is not provided. Breakfast not but a free sandwich or croissant with various toppings is served at their Cafe in front of the building until noon. No complimentary coffee so. They offer free snacks in a room on every floor.. After all it‘s a nice experience to be back in time for a shorter period (3 nights) So that was ok but I wouldn’t need it one more time.
great location with super friendly staffs”
it was my parents first time to visit chiang mai and our stay at yesterday hotel brought us together with smile. we really enjoyed staying here as thai massage, convenient store, money exchange booth is right next to the hotel. breakfast was unforgettably lovely. staff arranged our one day trip to pai and the rate and service was brilliant. though room was a bit small we definitely would come back for our next visit
very nice hotel, great location. friendly staff
Great location, Walking distance from many wonderful food spots and close to mall.
Very Good location and service!”
The hotel is located in Nimman roads which is very convenient for us to find some restaurants. Hotel staffs are always enthusiastic to take case of us (Clean room, give us new spoon, folk and bowl). There is also Grab Food service that can delivery food from the reataurant that far from here. Only downside is that the room is not soundproof.
Great hotel in Nimman”
Beatyful vintaged hotel decoration. Very clean and tidy room. Friendly staff and Great location in the middle of Nimman road surround by cafe and store but have a loudly noise from airplane time to time and toilet have some unpleasanted smell.
We are very impressed with the hotel. The staff greeted us very well. The hotel is very beautiful with many corners to take photos. Located on Nimman road, we can easily access to many cafes and restaurants.
What a find! 💯”
I was so pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff grated you right away and was very pleasant. Room was clean and although I did not have a view or anything, I enjoyed it fully. Location, Location, Location! You are walking distance from Maya mall and every Grab knew right where to pick you up. It is very central and only mins to the airport. I can't say how much the Staff amde you fill at home. If I am ever in Chaing Mai again, I will stay here for sure.
Great Location, No Frills But Nice”
I stayed here mainly because of the location (close to friends on Nim). I had a room on the second floor, which normally would have been fine because I was only there for a couple days and had a small bag, but I also had my golf clubs and there was no elevator. So it's not the best place if you are going to be there for a while or are on a big trip and have a big bag that you'll have to lug up many stairs.
Old by only time and title; But freshening, relaxing, hidden gem of Nimman”
Knew this hotel for long time by name; but didn't expect such a well maintenance. Everything looks still super fresh, in good condition, super clean! Staff is super friendly. Quiet hidden gem just on Nimman street side. The only downside is plane noise. Breakfast set lovely presented. Free snacks to grab. Stayed only one night on short vaca with mom, and happy that she enjoyed her stay.
Delightful Ambiance & Friendly Staff ”
I was delighted with the well-done ambiance and decor of Yesteday as well as the friendly, helpful staff. I interacted with the team at the front desk, housekeepers, room service and technical team (my wifi expired and someone was at my room to remedy it within about 60 seconds of my calling the front desk). They were all very kind and eager to help. The only con to location was the proximity to the airport. The airplanes taking off overhead was quite loud, but I was thankful that there seemed to be a quiet time between about 10pm and 7am. This must be the case for all hotels on Nimmanhaemin, and even despite this I'd still be pleased to stay at Yesterday again.
Great Traditional Style Thai Hotel”
Always had wanted to stay here, found the place very charming. Amazing value for money, but likely the result of the haze scaring away travelers. Would happily return though at twice the price.
Cozy and comfortable”
Perfect for a group on budget. Love the complimentary snacks and their breakfast. Service was good too!
the staff enter my room w/o knocking the door while i was naked in the toilet
Very nice hotel”
First, I was impressed with the building. I love it. The location is very good. It's near many famous restaurants. The room is very nice and clean. The staffs are very polite, friendly and supportive. Best service and facilities.
