cute hotel with friendly staff”
we stayed in this hotel without early planning.. yija hotel emerged in agoda's website for hotel bookings.. its rate is favorable.. i made the booking as a surprise to my family.. and it seems that i was surprised myself..!! the room is magnificent, complete for a family with kids like mine... with wifi and its location near to so many places to shop, we did most of our shopping on foot...! i am definitely booking yija hotel for my next stay in kl.. love this place so much...

Great staff, very nice place for the money we paid”
We really enjoyed our stay in yija hotel, it was a real found in agoda since walk in price was much more expensive than booking through agoda. Excellent public transportation options just few mins walk away

New clean hotel”
The hotel is new so at the moment is in relatively good condition, unfortunately I don't think it will stay this way forever. Our room was clean and nice, we had a problem with a blocked toilet but it was sorted out as soon as we reported it. The location is good, close to the Metro. It is not the best part of town but we never felt unsafe. All in all and given the price I would recommend Yija and will stay again.

Convenient and comfortable”
Yija Hotel suited our needs perfectly. We wanted a budget hotel right in the heart of KL, and we got the Muslim-owned hotel which was just a short walk away from the shopping havens of Sogo and Jalan TAR, as well as being a few minutes away from the Sultan Ismail LRT station. The rooms are not big but comfortable enough, with a bathroom unit that looked like it was a special order from Japan. There is a convenience store just next door, with a burger stall that's sure to satisfy the hunger pangs around dinnertime.

Clean, central location, and brand new”
it's location at the edge of kl's infamous chow kit area means that yija is in a great location during the day, but is not for the faint hearted at night. it's surrounded by really good food but in the evenings, is also near ground zero for kl's lower end red light district and the famous lorong haji taib area. check in was fast and efficient, the whole place is brand spanking new and therefore really clean. i was very impressed with the toilets. it had a very pre-fab almost high tech feel to it and was, as i've mentioned before, really really clean. a strange thing about the room was that the bed was really really hard. also, due to the proximity to the main road, my room was very noisy, but i had expected that. overall i had a good stay, it fulfilled all my needs and was cheap and (surprise, surprise) clean!

Good service hotel”
I was stayed in Yija hotel for three nights. I think the price for this hotel is resonable with good service. I booked the single room, I think the room is clean and comfortable. The location is good but still a bit far away from the monorail.

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY;DESERVES ITS GREAT REVIEWS”
This hotel is one of the best value for money budget hotels i've ever stayed and believe me I've stayed in a lot of hotels in so many countries around the world. Although a bit far from KL Sentral and Bukit Bintang, it is still accessible by Monorail. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable. The toilets smell good too and reminds me of budget hotels in Tokyo but without the expensive Tokyo prices. The pillows and mattresses are plush, new and clean. The aircon is a bit noisy but you still get a good nights sleep. The staff are also so nice, attentive and helpful.

Clean and central”
The Yija Hotel is quite central in KL. The next stop of the Hop On Hop Off Bus (for those who are interested) is just 2 minutes to walk) The beds are very hard, but the rooms are clean and the wifi was perfect. We had a great stay and would go there again.

Everything was exellent!!”
Was open in late 2012, so that everything was brand new. I stayed at business twin instead of superior queen, as the receptionist upgraded my room. I had a chance to take a look at the queen room and it seemed to be small, but it seemed to be worth for what you pay for. Have a computer beside the reception which the guests can use for free. You can use WiFi in your room as well. I saw a LAN cable plug-in on the wall in the room, but was told it was not working. The hotel is a walking distance from Medan Tuanku and Chow Kit Monorail stations, and also Sultan Ismail and PWTC LRT stations. The bus stop is at the opposite side(Jalan Raja Laut)if you are coming from Central Market and it costs only RM1. If you are going back to Central Market or Puduraya area, you can take a bus from Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. There is a Chinese restaurant next door and Indian-Muslim restaurant behind the hotel. Next to the Chinese restaurant there is a 24 hour open store and the Indian-Muslim restaurant also seemed to be open for 24 hours. All three receptionist are kind and helpful, and made my stay really comfortable. Although the area is not recommended for tourists as it is near Chow Kit, I will go back to stay with them on my next business trip for sure.

The hotel is OK.”
Overall my stay at Yija hotel is OK. Amenities are provided, friendly staff, nearby has 24 hours convenient store, and there is a huge market that sells a lot of things within walking distance from the hotel, though I would advise travelers to be careful with your belongings when you are visiting the market, because it looks messy and crowded. The size of the room is OK, but the toilet is a bit small. The TV doesn't have a lot of channel to choose from.

City center located hotel with comfortable bed and”
This is the second time I visited KL, the last time was in 2011 summer . KL hotels are usually cheap, compare with other places’ hotels, especially the Singapore’s. This time I came alone to visit my local Malaysian Chinese friends in weekend. I chose this hotel because I saw that the ranking and score in Agoda is really high. And it didn’t disappoint me!! According to the hotel staff, this is a four months hotel!! I love nice and new hotel because they are always clean and the things in room are not old. The room type I booked was “deluxe” type and it only costs less then USD per night which I think it’s very reasonable and cheap. To me, the room was quite big! (but they didn’t know how to use the diamond shaped room and it wasted lots of the corner space, or maybe they didn’t want to invest more, let’s say a stand lamp etc). The bathroom water pressure is enough and hot water came quickly. For one night stay after the late flight landing in KL (2300), this is a perfect choice!! Because I was with my local friends, they drove me and I felt safe. However, my friends reminded me the area this hotel located is the RED LIGHT DISTRICT, therefore you can see there are many old hotels nearby for people to have a quick sex. Be very careful of it and don’t go out late in night if you are travelling alone, especially for ladies.

9 out of 10”
the only minus point of this hotel is a little bit noisy because of it's location in the main road. if that minus point is solved, i will give perfect points for the hotel. for now my point is 9 out of 10. it's a very nice hotel

Right price for a city like Kuala lumpur”
Fair price with the location...not too far from Bukit Bintang, KLCC or Pavilion Mall, though initially thought that it was too far due to the environment witnessed. The staff were very helpful and nice but needed time to gain experience to cater to international tourists. This is a new place and hopefully management will allocate sufficient funds to maintain its present condition as things are starting to fall apart i.e. consistent Elevator failure, walls starting to deteriorate, Smoking should be banned from all the rooms to help reduce future costs in maintenance.

Clean hotel, good price and close to monorail. ”
This hotel was ok, very small rooms, but comfortable enough. It is located close enough to walk to the city centre, or a much easier choice is to use on of the rail stations near by. The only real issue I had with this hotel is that you are allowed to smoke in the corridors, so in the morning we were woken up by the smell of smoke coming into our room from under the door. We used a towel to block the smoke and after that it wasn't a problem anymore.
