Fun place to stay. Slide is starting to show age. ”
Family had a great time here. Only feedback were: (1) there was a lack of signage on the front of the hotel. We circled the block thrice in our car before figuring out that this was the place. (2) the kids loved the slide in the room that slides down from the mezzanine floor to the lower floor. However, the slides have been patched up and paint was starting to wear.. the gradient of the slide was also not very well done. Not for very young children (below 3 years old not advisable).

Renovation going on next door, loud sound during weekday work hours. We went for the slide in room, even with notice in room asking to keep quiet after 22:00, can hear loud footstep from other room playing the slide near to 1am. Other than that, hotel location is good, very near to the train station, and about 10mins walk to night market.

Fun for kids but not well maintained ”
We stayed in the 6 people room with slide. Let me start off saying that my likes loved the room. They kept running up and down to slide. The slide made very loud noises. The sound proofing is poor and can hear kids playing in the next room. The room was very worn with black marks and scratches on the walls. It was not well maintained at all. It made the room feel dirty. The staff that showed us the room was friendly. We had a driver and it was rainy so didn’t walk around and not sure how convenient was the location. I would not stay again despite the kids loved the slide.

Housekeeping staff is very good in welcoming and explaining with a map the places to explore for food and attractions. Rooms are clean. location is near to Luodong station with complimentary pick up on arrival. Requested if hotel could send us off to the station upon check out. Hotel replied that to call 20 mins before leaving. We called and messaged but no one picked up call. We had to make our own way to the station. Thankfully it was not raining and the station was not too far.

The minsu is in renovation during our stay which the host failed to alert us in advance. Level 1 is dusty and messy upon our arrival. It is an unpleasant stay with contractor walking in and out of the lobby. In additional, the cleanliness of the room need to be improved. Bedsheet was not change, thankfully we only stay for 1 night. Although the place is near the night market but the stay is not worth it. I will not recommend this minsu.

The room is big, quiet and comfy. Can choose Yilan Happiness Inn, if you want to stay longer. Good location for railway station and LuoDong night market. Thus, if you don't have idea about the attraction of LuoDong/YiLan, they will recommend and explain about the attraction and transportation. They are super very friendly and helpful.

I came with 5 adults + 2 young children. Pros: Before the trip, owner send me a long email in Mandarin telling me how to go to the minsu. Assist me to liase with taxi team. Very big and spacious room. Exactly like what you see from their pic. Staffs were super friendly. They gave us a map, orientated us on where to go, where is Luodong night market.. make our room, bathroom supplies provided.. And they are renovating another room planning to have slides for kids. I will visit again once it is ready. Cons: For them to improve- The 1 toilet is abit inconvenient for 7 of us. There are no mirror in the room except toilet. Other than that i will still choose their minsu if we were to go Yilan again. Thank you for the comfy, affordable stay.

I had a family room with a slide, and the kids just loved it! Great food nearby and the night market is just minutes away. Staff are super friendly and helpful! Just that the place is a little hard to find. But this is a small problem because you can just call them up... If I'm coming to Yilan again, I'll definitely stay here again!

~10 mins walking distance to lou dong night market! The staffs are very friendly. Will provide a tour guide map and explain the route to lou dong night market and it's famous local food! The room is big and clean! Will definitely return to stay in it if re-visit Yilan!

We were upgraded to a big room with a living room which was a nice touch. Luodong night market is just 10 min away. helpful staff took the time to explain to us in detail about the attractions and places to visit.

chose the room with slide in the room. Kids love it so much that they kept bugging me to skip the night market so they can spend more time in the room. Room is clean and beds are comfy. Location is within walking distance to night market (less than 10min walk away). Burger joint (Laya burger) opposite the Inn serves superb meal. Will certainly recommend this place to people with young kids.

We stayed in the large Mezzanine room. Huge! Sleek room design. The slide, while not slick, was very fun for our boys. Although no breakfast is included, there is a refrigerator in the room if you store groceries. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very flexible. Located very close to the train station and night market. Only very minor drawback, very little space to hang clothes. Great deal for the cheap price!

Walking distance to LuoDong night market. Staff is very friendly to explain and introduce the tourism place and guide you the direction. Book for 2 person , but upgrade to 4 person big room. Mobile networking is block when you are in room, luckily free wifi is provided.

Pros: - near food stalls - near Luodong Night Market, - mezzanine room has slide to entertain kids - 2 double beds on 2 separate levels thus giving some privacy - hot water shower available!! - potable water available from main lobby’s - in room mini bar fridge is very cold! Refroze the small ice packs Cons: - a little old (but it’s still ok) - toilet/shower is a little cramp - there’s a small little play room on level one but all the balls are packed away so didn’t manage to bring the kids in

Great stay”
It was such a great stay and we were sad because we only got to stay one night here. Overall, the room was clean, spacious and modern looking. There were 5 of us, all adults, and it has more than enough space for us to move around after opening our luggage. The owner was so friendly that he explained to us patiently on the amenities in the room like where to get drinking water and how to lock our room door and the one at the lobby if we come back late. He also told us patiently where to get food and specifically which one were nice, and the food really were yummy! I will definitely recommend friends to stay here! =)
