Unexpected greatness”
I planned to climb the Xueshan Mountain and the best option is to stay an overnight in Luodong and take the early morning bus going to Wuling. So I was forced to book a hostel in Luodong. I browsed Agoda for the cheapest available hostel in Luodong and found Yilan Inspiration Hostel. I was surprised that the hostel is so beautiful. It’s the least I expect in a cheap hostel. I’m an artsy person so I like the setup with books, guitar, ukulele, and many artsy decorations. I was a bit sad that I get to stay here for only one night and leave very early in the morning. I will definitely choose this hostel when I come back to Luodong.

Exceptional”
Great ambience and atmosphere. Despite the fact that there weren't a lot of guests, the amazing hosts and their helper tried their best to make me feel welcome, and tried to engage and recommend places to me. They helped me plan my day two days in Yilan, and gave tips on rentals of bikes/bicycles. Loved the recommendations, tips and help they provided for the following parts of my trip down the eastern coast of taiwan as well. Recommended hostel!! :-)

Amazing facilities and staff”
Great facilities. The lounge downstairs was amazing as well as the rooms were really well designed and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond, as well the hostel offered free bikes to use to explore the town which was really awesome!

Acceptable”
You know the problem with this accommodation is that they are not willing to provide assistance to their clients. We got lost trying to locate this accommodation. But prior to that, we were seeking help and they were just not that responsive. We were only able to locate this place through the help of the local couple who kindly gave us a hitch... and that part is something I am disappointed about and would rate them poor. Also everything in the place needs to be paid. We were left with no choice but to just enjoy the place. The only good thing about this is that the place was clean and the guy in the reception still extended some help. For those travelling the next day to Luodong Bus Station, this is one option. But check other options. You might find kind and helpful locals who owns hostels.

A little bit far from centre but acceptable”
the hostel was very cute, nice staff, nice common area that you can eat and drink there. i' ve stayed at 4-mixed dorm and 6-female dorm, all of them were cute and stylish. the hostel was in restidiential are so a little bit far from the centre, and nothing happen nearby. but you can use their bike to go to the train station.

サイクリングロードに面した静かで落ち着いた場所。前に小川が流れ魚が泳いでいるのが見える。のどかです。 自転車は古いですがただで借りられました。 室内も面白くていいのですが、洗面所とトイレが少ないのが残念です。

Worth Booking Accommodation”
A generally renovated hotel, very suitable for backpackers or small couples coming to Luodong. It is better to check in early. The small road along the river has a gurgling stream on one side and small vegetable fields on the other side. There are no street lights along the way. It can be a bit nervous for the first time going alone, after all, the road is a bit long and winding. It will be much better if you travel with companions. If you go alone, it is better to check in early. The entrance is a baoxin pearl milk tea factory. You have to take the smaller path on the left. I got lost all the way with navigation. Actually, it's quite exciting to think about it. In winter, the sky gets dark earlier. If it's summer, it's fine. I checked in around 6 o'clock in the evening, and it was already very dark. The path along the creek was also very dark. The service staff felt very good-tempered and friendly. There are two shower rooms and one toilet on the first floor. The shower head has unobstructed and powerful water flow. It feels like having a hot spring massage without going to the hot spring. The color tone in the room is neutral. I didn't book a small cabin room. The bedside lamp is above the pillow, so it can be a bit dazzling if you want to read in bed. There are two types of power outlets, one regular plug and two USB ports. There is no three-prong plug, so if you need to bring a laptop, you need to prepare an adapter in advance. If you need to charge your phone and power bank, etc., using three plugs at the same time is enough, so there is no need to prepare an extension cord. These are basically all the details. If you walk from the train station, remember to come from the back station. There are some problems with Google Maps guidance. This is a place I will book for accommodation next time I go to Luodong.

是次選了帳篷的6人客房，環境感覺都好棒。個人空間跟共用空間都好舒服。跟火車站距離步行大約15分鐘。旅館可借用單車，附近也蠻多可以踏單車或漫步的地方。或到市中心也頗方便的 旅館老闆跟小幫手都好nice😊整體地方乾淨整潔，cp值蠻高！
