Great budget stay”
Exactly as described, the room was small but clean. Bathrooms were really clean and staff were really, really nice. Wifi is just in the wifi spot but they've put a sofa there so you can surf in comfort. Yokohama is a great place - definitely recommend hiring the bikes (they have electric if you're lazy like me!) and heading to the seafront. There's so much to see, I didn't realise!

Reasonable single room for the night”
Pros: located in Motomachi, a beautiful town and not too far away from Minato-mirai or Yokohama. For the price I'm paying and getting my own room with aircon and TV together with shared shower unit and toilet is fantastic. Staff are really friendly. Oh! Don't forget to try their coffee! It's soooo good :) freshly roasted and grind. Cons: no elevator and my room was on the 5th floor. Good exercise I guess. However the staff are happy to help you with your luggages. Overall happy and would go back again.

Convenient location & friendly staff”
The location is very convenient to the Ishigawa station, just 4 mins walk. Staffs are kind and friendly. Althought there isn't any elevator in the hostel, the staff will carry luggage for you. I stayed in room at 4th floor, so it is really helpful for me. Amenities like shampoo, shower gel, blower are provided in the shower room. You won't need to wait if you bath early at 8. Maybe because the tatami and the humid climate that days in Yokohama, there was 1 cockroach in my room on the last night before check out. The staffs were willing to help me despite it was already 12:30 am. 4 of us were trying to combat with the insect. Eventually, one of the staff borrowed me the cockroach spray so that I can kill it and have a great sleep. Again thank you so much for the favour.

Cheap hostel, but you need to pay cash”
Rooms are very small, 3 tatami. In the room is TV and refrigerator. No elevator. Easy to find near Yokohama China town. You can walk 20 minutes to Kannai shopping street etc. Very nice roof garden for early breakfast. There is also washing machine and hot cupboard but if you leave your laundry to the roof in sunny day, it will make the same for free...

Good accommodation and convenient to Yokohama”
I've been to the hostel before and I like the location due to its close proximity to Yokohama. Inside you have your own t.v. and fridge. Sadly while I was there most recently there were renovations being carried out, so internet was a little inconvenient (had to go down the hall for access). If you fancy it you can hire a bicycle and ride down to the bay area, one of the highlights of Yokohama. Getting a shower while renovations are taking place can be troublesome too, but overall I'd recommend this place to younger types or solo travellers. Would be remiss of me to not mention the hostel is in one of the dodgiest parts of town. Quite a few elderly 'down and outers' around, but personally never been troubled by them.

Affordable Backpacker Hostel”
Nice and cheap accommodation. The hostel is about 5 minutes walk from Ishikawacho Station, just 10 minutes from Yokohama by rail. The area does have a few vagrants hanging around but they don't harm anyone. I like the rental bicycles as you can hop on and ride to Minato Mirai shopping area or to Yamashita Park for sightseeing around the foreshore. The room is a little small (containing bar fridge & t.v.) but good for solo travellers looking to do things at affordable rate.

Good if you're on a budget.”
We stayed 2 nights, very cheap, friendly staff, helped carry our luggage, small traditional Japanese room, share bathroom & kitchen, we bought food very cheap from the convenience stores, walking distance to the passenger terminal to get on our cruise ship, cheap bike hire too, plenty of drink vending machines.

A cheap roof over your head”
I stayed here for two nights in a private Japanese-style room. The room is very small, only has a tatami and a small table in the corner. There was air conditioning and a small fridge though. Toilet and shower are shared. It's a cheap way to get a roof over your head, but don't expect anything else. I'd think it's slightly better than having a bed in a dorm room. The hostel is located 2km from the nearest train or subway station so it's a bit of a walk to get there if you don't take taxi.

small barget stay”
a very small room that can only fit in travellers and backpack. the room and washroom are clean but male and female have to share all the facilities, including the toilet. it is worthy to stay if you just wanna to get a place to sleep.

Disappointing service from unhelpful staff”
Huge disappointment from very unhelpful staff upon check-in. Arrived earlier than expected schedule around 9am+ with heavy lugguages. Was told by staff that check-in can only be made after 3pm. Did not receive any further assistance nor care about the situation and was really unfriendly. A great shame despite a rather nice hotel.

Worst place I have ever seen”
This place is a complete joke and I swear prison-rooms are better than this. After travelling for half a year this is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed with. First of it’s not even cheap compared to other hostels. The placing is horrible as you’re living with a bunch of old crackaddicts and people with PTSD. You will not feel safe walking in the streets. The building you’re living in isn’t owned by the hostel as far as I can tell and you’re living with people that’s not staying with the hostel. You have to walk 5 floors with no elevator and that might be a problem if your health is not great or youre carrying heavy bags. They say it’s a smokefree area but the entire building smells like a chimney and I got sick from the smell, almost threw up. The room youre getting is no more than maximum 2 squaremeters and youre sleeping on the ground. You won’t even get a mattress but just a blanket to sleep on. That’s all that is in your room. The reception is on the other side of the street and is the only place with wifi. You can’t connect to the one in your room. Good luck trying to sleep on the floor. After a while you might get so tired that it won’t matter, but wait! There’s more! The windows has no soundproof. Your living right by the trains and cars passing by so it’s also noisy. There is no common area so if you wanna stay at a hostel to meet up with people you won’t do it here. There is 1 shower for the entire floor and it’s disgusting (you will get dirtier by showering there than if you didn’t). There is a «kitchen» area but I’ve never seen something as disgusting as the one they have. It’s mainly just a microwave and a sink, but YUK. And if you decide to use it there is no place to sit, neither in the kitchen or your room. The owner of this hostel must carry ZERO PRIDE in his name running this joke of a hostel. He should be ashamed and the bookingsites should remove it from their sites. I checked out after the first night and played double up to stay somewher
