Best stay ”
One of the best choices that we made... On arrivals in airport, a smiling face was waiting for us.... they pick up us on a beautiful old style truck.. just an amazing ride! we start to book one night and when we arrive we extend one more night because of the beautiful, clean and big room in an amazing location! The staff are amazing friendly and helpful and they try to give you the best attention and comfort as possible. We make check out to went to another hotel with more stars nearby (we have the booking made before stay here) and we immediately miss this one... so we decided to loose one nigh already booked in another hotel to make another booking and return to this paradise! A wonderful beach with white sand. They care about you as family... if you look a quiet place in paradise... this is the place. Always fresh fish in the hotel restaurant and local restaurants... and even the staff from local restaurant are amazing helpful. You get more than what you paid... more than the fair price! We will come back and we definitely recommended this hotel!!

Only the pefect words are deseved by this hotel. Charming, cosy, personal touch, amazing and professional stuff and management. The best you can imagine. The best beach, which is clean and very few people. Beautiful restaurant with excellent food, service and absolutely reasonable prices. The hotel is providing much more than its price and than you can expect from 3 stars. Would like to come back and definitely recommend to everyone visiting Ngapali. Book in advance. Only 15 rooms and the hotel is very demanded.

Would Visit Again In A Heart Beat”
We had a fantastic time. The beach is quiet, the water warm and clean and the lodge is a lovely place to spend a few days or longer. We had massages everyday there and they were brilliant, the staff were friendly and professional always, the grounds and rooms are beautiful. Looking forward to a stay sometime in the future.

Fantastic gem on Ngapali Beach”
We stayed here for 5 nights, and didn’t want to leave. The staff made us feel very welcome and feel like at home. The room was spacious and with beautiful design. The beach is right there with private sun umbrellas for all guests. The beach stretch is beautiful, the small bay is absolutely amazing. The breakfast was delicious and I must say we ate most of our other meals also at the hotel as we really liked the cooking and the service. I’d love to return one day!

Only stayed 3 nights, would have stayed longer but they were fully booked. It was a very pleasant stay, great staff, large well cleaned rooms, nice gardens. But the beach, for us, outshone everything. It's slightly north of Ngapli main beach, and so much quieter and less touristy. Some commenters don't like the fishing boats outside. But it really isn't a problem. Walk 30 meters down the beach and it's all clear. I enjoyed watching the fishermen come and go. The beachside Seagull restaurant is delightful. And in the main street try Mr June's restaurant. My wife had massage in the hotel and gave it a good rating. We were collected from airport with no problems. Enjoyable stay and we will return! I hope the beach area doesn't change too much!

Wonderful beachfront hotel”
A boutique beachfront hotel with beautiful gardens, huge rooms with terrace or large verandah, charming beachside restaurant serving delicious meals at economic prices and lovely, helpful staff, many of whom have graduated from the English-teaching school next door to the hotel. The hotel general manager for many years, Sue, a charming English lady, also runs the adjacent school and manages the charity that supports it. A successful and worthwhile second career if ever there was one!

Sweet, homely, unpretentious and relaxing”
We fell in love with this place and the people at the hotel within 2 minutes of arrival. To be honest it's hard to thing of anything that we did not like about it. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and were keeen to talk to us about the hotel and area. The setting was outstanding with the beach right on our doorstep and while we went in the middle of the wet season and it rain everyday not once were we disappointed about the stay, my wife and I felt completely relaxed. It's hard to sound like independent reviewers and not members of the hotel but we are honestly nothing to do with the hotel. We just loved the place and the staff: better than most of the 5 stars hotels I have stayed in. If you go I highly recommend visiting the school next to the hotel where it's a project to teach the young people English and their are eager to practice their English.

Personal service in a tranquil beach location ”
The village fishing fleet moor in the bay and set off before sunset and land their catch at dawn. Real life on the doorstep is fascinating ... the sea is like a warm bath. The beach is carefully groomed. I can also recommend the massage in the garden room.

Lovely for a good break”
Ideally located: on the small beach at the north of Ngapali with not too much tourists. Splendid garden, very peaceful. Lovely view on the sea with fishermen’s boats from the restaurant! View on the sunset Breakfast very ok. Free transfer from the airport. I advice not to stay in the front beach rooms are maybe a bit noisy (sea noise + restaurant noise + boat noise in the early morning).

Fantastic experience”
What an amazing hotel in a great location. I can't recommend this lovely place enough. Truly a little piece of paradise in a stunning country. The main part of Ngapali beach just a short walk away is great but the location of Yoma Cherry Lodge on a virtually secluded bay is perfect. I have had baths with bigger waves and with colder water than the water here and the sand is like talcum powder. The staff were always attentive and helpful, including helping us to rebook a cancelled flight on the day. The food is fresh and delicious with great seafood and fruit juices. Thank you Yoma Cherry - we will be back one day!

Great place with lovely staff”
Rooms were spacious and inviting, very clean and modern. The hotel is lockated on a small, less touristic beach very close to Ngapali beach. We enjoyed, that there were not quite as many people, and also locals. There is a terrace at the beach, where you can have breakfast and also watch the sunset - we didn't find a better spot at Ngapali beach. What we most liked about Yoma Cherry was the very nice, warm and friendly staff. They really made you feel very welcome and special and really took care of our needs. Would recommend this anytime!

Charming and Secluded”
Cherry Yoma is a beautiful, though small, hotel, with only about a dozen rooms. It is situated in a smaller bay within Ngapali Bay, so it is more private and tubing, jet-skis, coconut vendors, and pony rides are not easily accessible. This could be good or bad depending on your preferences. I enjoyed the quiet and privacy. We share the beach with our other dozen hotel guests, as well as some local fishers and children. That's the only real downside--because they dry fish in the sun on the beach, there is a faint fishy smell--but you get used to that quickly. It's quite a sight to see them tossing silvery fish out to dry on netting on the beach. The hotel doesn't have a pool, though that would be pretty redundant for a beachside hotel. They have great food, excellent service, and affordable massages in their garden pavilion. The service here is really top-notch. The employees are friendly, attentive, and have great English. The place is immaculate as well. Every morning the sand in front of the hotel is raked. Their many fussy, intricate wooden carvings are hand polished. The gardeners are busy watering, clearing leaves, and rearranging stones. The room will be cleaned twice a day--once in the morning, and once at night for turn-down. The room was large and well-decorated. Air conditioning is only available after 6pm, but the room stayed cool even during this hot season. If you want more light or air circulation, the back doors open onto a deck. My only complaint is that the pillows could have been of better quality. The hotel is a short walk to the village of Lin Thar, with its art galleries, shops, restaurants, and other hotels. The hotel can also arrange for boat trips that will pick you up at the hotel. For the most part, though, we didn't feel the need to leave the hotel property at all.

Wonderful stay”
We had a fantastic stay at Yoma Cherry Lodge. Nice high ceilings and the room opens onto a terrace. Clean room and nice beach. They're no TV, no fridge and no amenities in bathrooms so bring your own. All the staff were lovely. Attentive, caring, polite and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return again one day.
