Nice quiet place located in the middle of farm”
Being in a farm, it is not very accessible but the owners will gladly drive you to and from the train station during arrival/departure. Great scenery with friendly owners who will gladly invite you to dine with them when you return from your day's tour of Taroko gorge.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
Love the lodge so much although it is not very convenient to get around Hualien. This lodge is located amidst the mountainous site, the owner has a fruit farm and a cute cat (named Lady). The owner provides two ways transfer from station to lodge to station. Also, just like what other travellers mentioned, they are really nice and they let us try their wines (which tasted really good). The breakfast provided was great because of their handmade jam! Loved their mulberry jam. They even helped us buy dinner (because we arrived without food) and they have contacts for local tour operators (we managed to arrange for tours one day prior with their help and went for River Trekking and Taroko Gorge Tour with 小飛機 and friends, and had an awesome time). It is advisable to explore Hualien City on its own by staying in another accom within Hualien City Center before coming to this homestay for Taroko Gorge and a relaxing stay.

Great location for Taroko national park”
On the one hand this hotel is in a unique and fantastic location but unfortuntely on the other side of the picture is a large cement factory. If you can live with that it is great for exploring the Taroko national park. Staff does not speak much English but are really helpful. We stayed in the main building and had a large room (with three kids) including kitchen.

Amazing”
We had a very amazing experience with the airbnb. We were the only guests for the night and the host allowed us to check in early. Room was very clean and tidy and hosts were very accommodating and attentive. Even offered to drive us to the Taroko stop to hop on to the sightseeing bus and told us what would be the easiest way to travel. She even picked us up after the dinner. Overall the accommodation is amazing with a stunning view of taroko and hosts! Highly recommended!

Love the place”
Love this place! It is just in front of the Taroko, very good if you want to get away from the city. Aunty Yu, Uncle Yu and their niece has been super hospitable. After knowing that I'm travelling alone, they always try to ensure that I am safe, have food to eat and even chat with me. It really feels like I was home during my 2 nights stay there. Would definitely be returning when I go to Hualien!

Fantastic stay”
We reached xincheng station around 7pm and couldn't get any taxi at that moment. (The place is slightly off from the main route, hence walking is strongly not recommended, especially at night). I called the owner and he came to pick us up at xincheng Station. A very warm welcome received from the lovely family. They even prepared snacks and rice wine for us during the night conversation. Breakfast is freshly made by Mrs. Yu in the morning depending on your preferred time. The meal is delicious and hearty. After breakfast, Mr. Yu even offered to fetch us to 7 eleven to take bus. A short stay but I feel homed. Thank you. Tips : you will get free sausage from owner if u reach 1.5km of shankadang trail in taroko national park. Best sausage ever. You will not regret for walking that 1.5km.

Homemade Mulberry Jam and Friendly Lily”
We stay here just for a night, but we wish we could have more nights here. The location is great, near to Toroko National Park entrance. There is a little dragon fruit farm behind the hotel, and the owner make yummilicious Mulberry Jam. I kinda miss it now! On top of that, one of the staff, name Lily, is very friendly and helpful. We end up chat outside our hut till night, talking about traveling around Taiwan (note: she is an ex-tour guide in Taiwan prior to join the small guesthouse).

Fantastic Wife n Husband Team!”
Despite my stay in Taroko being overshadowed by a good friend’s death in the U.K., this couple made the stay here, the highlight of my trip to Taiwan thus far! Staying in one of the little wooden houses was a treat, so snug n comfortable, all you needed for a short (3 nights) stay in this beautiful area! The wife (Cholan - spelling?) was magnificent, despite quite limited English, her cooking skills, her tour/trail recommendations, train connections and all, were all great. The husband tirelessly provided a taxi service to various points on the compass, as well as holding down a full(?) time job in the Gorge! I look forward to the opportunity to staying there again, but for much longer, next time! Really great!

Amazing minsu! Highly recommended! Very down to earth and kind owners”
It's a very cosy place to stay. We opted for chalet room. This place is honestly one of the best minsu I've ever stayed in Taiwan. Owners are very kind and helpful. They have a farm just beside the minsu, they run the whole show, meaning they manage the whole farm and minsu on their own. And the view at night over the taroko bridge is perfect. You can see it from the minsu. Location is slightly further away from city which is why I really loved it. Peace and calm. You can take the train to xincheng train station (taroko station) and get a taxi outside the train station. From train station to minsu is only five minutes. At night, the minsu owner even treated us his home brew rice wine. It was so good! Thank you for the amazing hospitality Yu's home stay. We will definitely stay at this minsu if we ever come back to Hualien. Highly recommended for all!

Close to Taroko National Park & Friendly Staff”
This is a great location if you would like to visit Taroko National Park. I recommend renting a scooter at the Hualien train station upon arrival (if you arrive by train) and drive yourself to the guesthouse and around the national park (which is about 8 mins up the road). The guesthouse is a little tricky to locate - you must take what appears to be a smaller footpath of the main road just past the beef noodle restaurant that nearby 4 way intersection. The family who owns the guest house are very friendly - although they don't speak much English, they are avid users of google translate to help you out however they can. Not many food options nearby (especially for vegetarians) and the guesthouse only serves breakfast. I recommend stopping at Carrefour on your way in from the train station to get some food for the evenings and for hiking. The guesthouse owners are nice enough to let you store your food in the fridge if need be!

Located at the small township before the entrance to Taroko National Park. a very serene and quiet neighbourhood at night as the town is mainly flocked by tourist during the day. It is a perfect spot for regenerating after a long and tired working/traveling life. Waking up to birds' chirping, magnificent sunrise with the mountains in the backdrop is a daily routine.

The owner and host of this homestay are really good. They give us great advise on where and when to go inside Taroko nature reserve. Letting us borrow GPS and USB charger. the friendly hosts, location near to taroko gorge, serene surroundings
Our stay was wonderful. We chose the location as it was near to Taroko Gorge. The hosts were absolutely magnificent, sharing with us their passion for rice wine making. Waking up to the serene and green scenery with the mountain range behind the B&B was just simply breathtaking.
