Superb in everything!! Highly recommended!! ”
Very impressive. Worth every penny. Breath taking view at group private onsen (Big ryokan onsen). Great view at in room onsen too. There are 3 onsen in every room. One is rock, One is wood and another wood onsen in bathroom. Room is very big. Has plenty of facilities, even massage chair. Dinner was spectacular also, in both taste and presentation. The biggest dinner course that I ever had! Full of flavour, quality and quantity. Taste so good. Fresh ingredients. Staffs and the owner are very nice indeed. If I will visit Yufuin again, I definitely back to stay here.

Amazing hot springs experience”
Staying with my family (4ppl in total) in their Japanese style room with two private onsen so we can enjoy the onsen anytime we want. Our package included dinner and breakfast, they both are delicious. They also have another private onsen for all customers to use at the top area and that’s the best place to see the Mt. Yufu.

Wonderful stay”
The hotel offer pick up service from JR station, you may contact the hotel via their official website. Staff were friendly and could speak in English and Putonghua. No problem in communication. Welcome snacks and drink were provided when you check in. The room was spacious and come with 2 hot spring pools. The view from room was stunning. You may also choose to use the outdoor public bath. It was so relaxing in the hot spring facing the Mount Yufu. The dinner and breakfast prepared by the hotel was great in both presentation and taste. There were plenty of varieties of seasonal food selected by the chef, the plum wine made by the owner taste so so so good too. It was an unforgettable stay in Waremokou. I would definitely recommend it to others.

We were warmly welcomed and staffs are really kind. Room was quite big compared to other Ryokans or hotels in Japan and the view of privite onsen was so amazing. Also, dinner and breakfast tasted really good. If i have chance to visit Yufuin again, I would definitely choose this Ryokan again.

beyond expectation”
We chose this resort as we are travelling to Yufuin as a family trip. The staffs are all very nice, service is superb. foods are plentiful and of good tastes and presentation. we stayed in japanese villa with 3 hot tubs in each room. the view was nice but the facilities of the room was even better, even comes with massaging chair. highly recommend!

One of the best private outdoor Onsen”
A large private room with both an indoor and outdoor onsen for private use during winter....perfect for a couple looking to spend quality time together! The view while soaking in the pool is amazing. The dinner and breakfast were very well curated by the owner, for both nights we were there. Transport to and from Yufuin town was provided as well.

Excellent Onsen Hotel ”
Very traditional Japanese onsen hotel. Food is just great. Very nice view of Mt. Kuraki. 5 min drive to Gold scale lake. Stay in special guest room with a nice view at balcony. Two outdoor in-room private onsen. One wooden, one stone. In-room dinner. Good for lazy people like me. What an experience to onsen with a nice snow view. Highly recommended. Only accept cash.

The staff were very helpful. The owner was so nice to drive us to the train station after he knew we had to take early train on checkout date. Food was excellent, breakfast was really a surprise. Room was clean, large and comfortable with two private onsen and beautiful views. The hotel is not very close to train station (more than 30mins by foot) but it is easy to get a taxi.

The dinner and breakfast are well worth the price in my opinion, not to mention the warm and friendly service provided by their staff and kind lady manager, who seems to be the owner. The private onsen is pretty good, but one should try their private family onsen which has a great view. Highly recommend.

Perfect destination for honeymoon”
Place was absolutely stunning. It was very clean plus the wooden scent made me very relaxing. Staffs were very very polite and kind. Special thanks to the owener as he gave us glass of a fine wine for honeymoon compliment. There were two private outdoor hotspring which were absolutely perfect with the astonishing view. I would definitely come back again when we have kids!

The room with 2 private onsens and the water is hot enough. There is a private onsen outside the room and the view is beautiful. the food at there was fresh and we tasted the local beef and vegetable. the most important is the service is good. Recommended.
