Relaxation at its best
The room was very comfortable and the service was great. The meals were really good too!
Overall a very good experience. We were a group of three and the room was comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and took the time to explain everything to us. It's something worth trying

A Hidden Oasis
Food, Room and Onsen
This ryokan is truly a quite and intimate place where one can spend a weekend retreat with a loved one or by oneself. The onsen can truly be invigorating and relaxing. One thing I miss though was to have a massage. The kaisheki dinner was excellent and so was the breakfast. The futons were so comfortable that I did not have any problem dosing off to a good sleep. Definitely, I would go back to this hidden retreat ryokan.

Quaint ryokan with great service
Service, atmosphere
We booked a large tatami room for the family (4 with older kids). The people are fantastic. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. There's one staff who speaks English fairly well, while everyone else communicates in Japanese and sign language. The ryokan is a bit old, but well kept and clean. Breakfast and dinners were traditional Japanese. For the adventurous, you'll love trying the 8-10 course dinner. For the less adventurous, you may want to bring snacks with you.
