Good Hotel with a pretty nice location”
Hi, During our recent London holiday we were staying at Z hotel at Gloucester & me and my wife were pleasantly happy with our choice. The moment we entered the hotel we were impressed with the cleanliness right from the lobby to entire hotel premises. We were very pleased with the friendly and helpful nature of the staff too. Once the key to our room were handed we are very happy to see a cosy, clean room with basic amenities. As per the european standards the room was of a decent size. The only drawback which we felt was the room did not have the reception calling phone. So any enquiry required from the reception had to be personally done visiting them down stairs. We found this a bit inconvenient. But the positive vibe, friendliness of the staff and the cosiness of the hotel made us ignore all the above small aspects. The location from the hotel is close to many attractions in London and can be covered very easily from the hotel. This is an added advantage for those trying to go sight seeing. For a totally different hotel experience, please do visit Z hotel. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend this for a safe and amazing holiday at the heart of London. Regards Biju Mohan Khanjoor

Great value and service”
I had a 2 night business stay here. This hotel consists of 4 separate properties along Gloucester Place and this caused initial confusion. I had given the taxi driver the address on the booking, no. 51, but he dropped me at the first building on Gloucester Place he saw with a sign for Z Hotel. I walked to no 51 to be told that my room was in no 87. This initial confusion was soon forgotten when I arrived at no. 87. It is a beautiful Georgian townhouse, sensitively and recently converted to hotel use. It feels like an exclusive boutique hotel, of the sort that would cost far me than the rate I paid. The free wine available adds to the feeling of being in an exclusive club, rather than an inexpensive hotel. The room was nice, with fresh, clean decor and a comfortable bed. I didn't hear a sound and slept well. Breakfast was served at a communal table and include a good selection of breads, cereals and fruit. All of this within 3 mins of Baker Street tube station. A good spot.

Good but with a few flaws”
My partner and I spent a week at the Z in Gloucester Place. We had a room on the top (4th floor). Overall we really enjoyed staying there and would stay there again, but there are a few issues. The club King room we booked had a king bed that was against the walls on three sides but the closet was big enough to put our bags and the bathroom was actually quite large with a beautiful walk-in shower. Also, the lighting is all or nothing without reading lights or ways of reducing the brightness. The club is well worth the additional expense; it is kind of like being in a family-style kitchen and served food, all day long if one wanted; meeting other travelers was great as was the daily afternoon wine and cheese. The highlight was the staff and a special shout-out to Alessandra and Marta who were friendly and helpful. Also, the location is outstanding, close to the Baker St. tube and there are lots of great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, and easy access to central London.

Great, pleasant stay with lovely staff and nice, clean & hygienic surroundings!”
We enjoyed our stay at Z hotel Gloucester Place! With approximately 600m you’ll find two subways (Marble Arch & Baker Street). Near the shops, but also near HydeParc! The hotelroom was all set and super clean, wooden floors and windows to open. You need to write that down with your reservation, otherwise you can get a basement room with a window that can’t be opened. The staff is really friendly, breakfast just fine. A great plus is the supplementary wine and cheese between 5 and 8 Pm, good wines, lovely cheeses and peaceful surroundings. We would definately come back here if we would go see London again!

One of the cleanest and well kept hotels I've stayed in.”
A very nice hotel (actually, two properties at 23 and 51), we checked in at #51 Gloucester Place but our room was at #23, a very short walk down the street, closer to Oxford Street. The property and the room were both excellent and pristine; a an Australia the only thing missing for us was a bar fridge in the room, but we understand that's not always common through Europe/UK. All up, a very nice property in a good location near Oxford Stree, Hyde Park and Selfridges

Great location but super small rooms”
Generally I thought the hotel was nice. Staff was friendly, location was good, rooms were clean and net renovated. For us, location was great - cos Marylebone is convenient and walking distance to Oxford Street, Hyde Park and Tube station. We also like the complimentary evening wine and cheese session for hotel guests. But really be prepared for super small room even for London or New York standards. You will need to unpack and put away the luggage under the bed or in the closet in order to have any floor space. Proportionately, the bathroom and shower is decent size. Also, note that the hotel is spread down a couple blocks so the reception might be in a different building.

Cancelled due to Eurostar official statement”
A friend recommended me your place for its comfort and location. But following an official statement released by Eurostar on wednesday 27th March which highly recommended us to not travel to London on friday 29th march “unless absolutely necessary”, we decided to get fully refunded by Eurostar. However, we expected Z hotel to understand more the situation and refund partially at least for the damage caused by my late booking cancellation or keep our credit for a future booking there. But instead they proposed me to give a future date of trip to London within 2 days or to change the name of the booking but not many people travel to London at the same dates than us, we couldn’t find anyone. My review is more about staff than quality of your hotel.

Definitely recommend 🙌🏽”
I love this hotel it was my second time staying in this area I previously stayed at London conntinental which is like 1 minute away and I’m so glad I chose z hotel this time. The staff are so professional and helpful and are willing to help with any request. This hotel is worth the money it’s literally up the road from oxford street and there’s Nando’s and kfc McDonald’s Tesco everything you need is just 5 minutes away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I stayed with my sister the bed is so comfy the bathroom is really big and the shower is clean the WiFi signal is perfect and they have a large tv with all the channels stayed for 5 nights perfect.

Convenient location with clean room”
The hotel is located in the Hyde Park area and has easy access to all must-see destinations in the city. It is with walking distance to the underground station, Oxford Street and Marble Arch. The room is clean and with good city view outside window but it is a bit small for big luggage. The bed is comfortable. The staff was nice. The hotel provides free wine and cheese at evening but we did not have time to try during our stay. However, the hotel does not have a proper reception and there is no fridge inside the room. You have to bring toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers as the hotel does not provide those items. All in all, it is a nice hotel to stay in London.

Good value”
Rooms are clean and modern and though small, they are larger than many I viewed when trying to find a hotel in London. Well priced. I stayed in a building several buildings down from the main hotel. This is not uncommon in London. All rooms look pretty much the same and I found the uniformity comforting. Free cocktail of an evening in the main building though I was always out exploring this wonderful city and missed it but a nice touch. 10 min walk to Baker st station and a bus a few metres away, I found the location easy to get around. No phone in the room and it could use another power point next to the bed but such minor points really. Great stay and friendly staff.

Perfect ”
We arrived a day later than expected travelling from Australia and I contacted the hotel who replied quickly ensuring we would still have our room. Upon arrival we were upgraded!! Which was amazing after 24 long hours of travel including long delays. Our upgrade was to the Z Hotel Club where we had access to free food and drink 24/7 through a private cafe like setting within the hotel - If you can afford this I would recommend! So nice after a day of site seeing being able to help yourself to cold drinks including wine ;). Breakfast and afternoon tea served is great and there is free wine and cheese served from 5pm onwards. We were on the ground floor, was a bit noisy with the main front door slamming as people came in and out however the windows are double glassed so very minimal outside noise. Amazing location. Not in the hustle and bustle but Baker Street around the corner with lots of food places and Madam Tussaud’s around the corner. A bus stops in the street that takes you to Camden markets and is a stop for a bus coming back from central London. Would happily stay here again.

Super spot for short break”
More or less in the beating heart of London -10 mins from Oxford street / Hyde Park Corner. Super clean, comfy bed bijou room with BIG TVif you wanted., but why would you with so much in walking distance. Lovely staf too. We were on top floor and the only down was a weak shower.

Superb value, hospitable staff.”
This chain is setting the bar high for London accommodation at a reasonable price. Such a welcome change from the usual tired furnishings on offer in the capital at this price point with bored or indifferent staff. The rooms, while on the small side, have inviting minimalist design and their breakdast bar is beautifully set out . I cannot recommend it highly enough. And part of my enthusiasm is due to well-trained welcoming staff, here Andreea and Tiago.

Perfect for our needs”
We were allocated a small but very bright and clean room on the fourth floor. It had a nice big shower and bathroom area. I liked the big towels! The room had a TV, hairdryer, and coffee, tea and hot chocolate were provided. Check in and check out were easy. The best thing was the location - 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park where we were going for a concert. I would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to get stuck in the crowds going to the underground stations after Hyde Park concerts!

location wise very close to marble arch , oxford street . for those shoppers - this is an ideal. when we arrived , we were told that we have been upgraded to superking room. room size fairly reasonable and very clean. foods and snack are available at the common /kitchen area - which is a good meeting place to mingle around with others. will definitely will come back whenever there is opportunity to visit london. highly recommended.

Great place to stay!!”
Rooms were a little small but very clean and well lit. Located close to two underground stations which were about 10 to 12 minutes walk away. Close to places of interest and shopping too. I would have rated hotel facilities excellent had there been an alarm installed outside each main unit. Will definitely book a room here should I visit London again.

One night in London”
The hotel was perfectly located, central and close to train and bus stops. Even though we would miss breakfast the next day, Daniela organized some take away breakfast for us. We were very early for check in but they gave us a basement option available immediately, we politely declined and they made a room available on the 3rd floor soon afterwards. Danielas service was excellent, she made us feel so at home. The rooms are small but its great value for money, very clean , decent ventilation, enough storage for your bags. The area is quiet, food is so delicious. Bar has so many options, drinks were free and available at all hours. Its not 5 star but sure as hell felt like it and came close. We couldnt be more happy and would highly recommend this place.

You will not regret! ”
So pleased with the hospitality of this hotel, and especially Larisa made us feel very welcome. When we arrived we were so lucky to get a free upgrade of our room. If you have allergies like me, they find good options for you for the breakfast. The location is not far from Marble arch and Oxford street. I usually do not write recommandations, but I am so happy about the experience of this hotel! Clean room, good location and a nice area to live in if you want to visit London.

Best hotel in London so far”
This was the best hotel in London so far. Nice and clean room with wooden floor, which we liked so much better then carpet floor. Staff was excellent, so nice and helpful. The hotel offers free wine and cheese between 17-20, a really nice touch! Try the hummus, it was wonderful! We will be back :)
