Very clean and comfy”
Zpad Residences was like a condotel that has 3 bedrooms per unit - (1) double bed, (1) twin bed, and (1) single bed. Each room per unit has its own keycard so your stuff are safe even if you are staying with other travelers in one unit. The units are very clean and well maintained; they conduct housekeeping everyday and upon request if you are gonna stay for a few days. Location wise, very accessible to everything. Metro Supermarket is just across and you can ride puv’s if you wanna go around the city. Will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Tacloban :)

Good value for money & friendly staff”
Staff are friendly and accommodating. I asked to be transferred to another room because of a bad smell.. (I dunno where it was coming from) and they gladly moved me to another room. They are quick to respond to your requests. Complete toiletries. However, they don’t supply you with them everyday (I stayed for 4 days) unless you ask for them. I had to call them everyday for refill. The hotel is just near Metro shopping mall. Accessible to public transportation going downtown. And oh, wi-fi is strong. Perfect if you’re working online. (That’s the main reason actually why I booked a room with them). I wanted to stay until my last working day and requested for a late checkout (until 5pm). They said i just have to pay an extra 500 which was okay. However, they couldn’t guarantee my late check out. Really? Why? I was willing to pay the extra 500. They said there might be some guests that would check in that day. Yeah, I understand that but you’re accepting late check out for an extra pay. So what the heck? Lol! Anyway, there are other hotels in Tacloban. So i didn’t extend and looked for another place to stay. Overall, stay was good (except for the late check out thing, lol!)

It was worth the money. The place is clean and the shared area is great. I had a hard time with my luggage because I stayed on the 3rd floor but the staff helped so it was fine. The location is great as well. Metro Gaisano is just across the street.

You can save here with ideal accommodation No elevator, but the staff will help you carry your luggage. I stayed in a 3 room apartelle with other groups, the door may bangs loudly.

We enjoyed our stay at this well managed and clean location. Staff are very responsive and friendly. Very nice location right next to new mall. International ATM, department store, Palawan Pawnshop, large gocery store and KFC next door. Recommended.

Academic and Retreat”
It is a nice place to work on thesis. The receiving area is conducive for academic works. I also got the chance to go to mass daily as it is near to the Redemptorist Parish Church.

Enjoyed my stay at a great hotel residence. It's part of the XYZ hotel which is an excellent hotel in Tacloban. This is less luxurious than the XYZ hotel but the same great service and menu.

March 2022 Visitor”
Room - I was told that the room assigned to me suddenly had a problem. They upgraded my single room reservation to a room with a queen size bed. It nearly matched the Holiday Inn room I had in KL in 2020, except for the toilet and bathroom. The bathoom-toilet area was small (for a small person like me). If you are more than 170 cm, and quite "fat", you would have difficulty fitting into the bathroom/toilet area. (I'm not fat though.) Overall, my room experience was satisfactory (4/5). Cleanliness and room smell - very satisfactory (4-5/5). Room service and food - satisfactory (4/5); my preferred drink was not available and I didn't like the other choices. Service of the staff - very satisfactory (5/5). On check-out, they booked me with the local transport system on a really rainy day. Thank you very much for their service. I really left them a good amount of tip. They deserved it. Location - Very satisfactory (5/5). The hotel is not in a very commercialized area of the city, but just across a newly opened mall. I was able to buy what I needed for the night, and was able to sleep well. Value for the price - Very satisfactory (5/5) Will I go back? - Yes. Thank you.

I booked the Z Pad Single Room. The room was just big enough for a single person. The bed was comfy and had a good night's sleep there. Toiletries and towels were provided by Z Pad. The staff were friendly and helpful even if I arrived around late evening. There's a Jolibee near the hotel and I was able to grab a quick dinner there. Also, the hotel was easy to locate since tricycle drivers were already familiar with it. Maybe one thing that I've observed is that the rooms were not so soundproof since I could hear sounds from the hallway and the shared space. But all in all, it was a good stay and has met my needs as a solo traveler passing by the area who just needed a place to crash for the night.

Best place to stay in Tacloban City”
Our first-time travel to Leyte was capped by an overnight stay at ZPad Residences. We were very much impressed by the space of the Z Suite and the service provided by staff upon check-in, meal requests, and assistance. Definitely coming back to ZPad. Salamat!

Great Place to stay in under budget”
If all you need is a place to sleep in and have a shower, Zpad is definitely it. The room is small, but includes a mini-fridge, water boiler, a mug, drinking glass and complimentary instant coffee. 5/5 experience in the overall stay but I had a problem where my room light wouldn't turn on so -1 point on that. Overall, it was great
