Never knew you had a late chekin charges before”

2 days before we arrived we received an email stating that we had to pay extra 30 pounds for late check in after 8pm and another 30 if it was after 10pm. Also mentions that we have to actually pay a deposit of 200 pounds (which they actually deducted in from the account, normally this just held right) per room with 3% interest if paying by credit card. If we pay cash there is no interest but they will only be able to credit the money in your card and wont be able to give cash. We got the money back but lost almost $300 on exchange rates. Agoda was kind enough to refund the late checkin charges. The hotel was not helpful and will never recommend anyone to stay here

Dicheap, dirty and a lot of broken items”

Check in was one Minute. After the guide left we found, that the blinds on the Windows was broken, the appartment gerally unclean,10 bulps where broken, TV was not working. They was not able even after serveral complains to fix all that.

Great location, lousy management”
Location, access to transit, great view
The apartment was very nice, the location is great and the access to transit is terrific. The downside was the lack of maintenance and management. We couldn't find the building easily, although we did eventually. The person who was supposed to meet us was busy with other guests and took a long time to get us checked in. There is no "left luggage" as this is a residential apartment tower and not a hotel. No front desk, no phone, mail or email reception person. It is more like a vacation rental by owner than a hotel or short stay apartment. Once in the unit, the lack of maintenance was visible everywhere: broken doorknob on the bathroom, broken slats on the single bed, missing or broken utensils in the kitchen, marks on the carpet, TV not working and so on. The furniture is low end, cheap but cheerful junk that is not standing up well to the intensity of use a hotel type set up experiences.If the price was half of what we paid, I would not complain. But for that much money, one should get a place where everything is in good condition and reasonable quality. I was very disappointed and will not be back.
