Enjoyed our stay but could have been better
Apartment was good but needed a little bit of TLC, eg the curtains needed a wash, the towels were good for rags the sheets didn't fit the bed properly and the skirting board in the kitchen was falling off. The apartment was in a good position close to the station. We found the apartment but had to be taken to another building as there was not one available there.

General review of the apartment is satisfactory ie cleanliness, location and faciliities. However the operating staff at zen apartments is disappointing.
I did three separate bookings for 3 apartments at ability place checking in on 12/3, 16/3 and 18/3/16 respectively. 1. The first group arriving on 12/3 was wrongly placed in lantern court instead but this mistake was immediately rectified by Christina, the attending staff. 2. There was no hitch with the second group and was attended to efficiently and satisfactorily. 3. It was a nightmare with the third batch. Firstly, the booking cannot be traced. After many phone calls, Kamila, the attending staff managed to find it and things were sorted out, so I think. I confirmed with her that we will be checking in at 2pm and as according to procedures, she will wait at ability place for us. At about 2pm, we arrived and there was nobody waiting for us. After numerous phone calls, all of which went to voice mail, we finally got kamila on the phone at 2.40pm. She arrived 15mns later with Alex. When asked why she did not come at 2pm as promised, she just bluntly told us, truthfully or not, that she was there at 2pm sharp and not seeing us, went off to attend to other clients. My question: 1. Why does phone calls go to voice mail so frequently. This makes communication rather difficult. Phone calls should be attended to at ALL times. 2. Is it your company policy to expect clients to arrive on the dot sharp and if you do not see them, to go off and not even bothering to call your client. Firstly we were there at 2pm, hotly disputed rather rudely by Kamila. And secondly, she had our phone contact. So she can call us to find out whether we are in the vicinity. And even if we are a few minutes late, she should had the courtesy to wait for us. When she finally arrived at 2.50pm, she offered no apologies and did her job unprofessionally. Our experience with her was a disaster and leave us highly dissatisfied. 3. System of refund of deposit should be better.

It is not what is advertised
We booked to stay at the Ability Place. But we're told to meet a Zen representative at a different address then told they did not have any one bedroom apartments in their portfolio and they were adamant that we were mistaken to think we booked a one bed room apartment at Ability Place! We wasted so much time liaising with Zen Appartments and had to be moved twice! We had to accept what were available because we had no choice - should have demanded our money back! They were patronizing in the whole process!
