Quiet spot in the middle of everything”
We got a "Superior room", which was a simple, small room with a TV and a fridge. There's a 7-11 50 meters away, so you'll get everything you need anyways. The location is right between the backpacker-friendly Rambuttri Road and the river with close access to both the Phra Athit ferry pier and the Phra Su Men fort. It was quiet in the night, and the AC was working well, so for the low price it was a really good deal.

amazing facilties and super friendly staff ”
Loved our stay. The room was basic but very clean and the hotel had great facilities such as hot and cold free water re fill machine, 24/7 tea and coffee station and a locked room for leaving baggage. There's also a travel desk at the front of Erawan House for booking trains etc. Location wise it was superb, street food within walking distance as well as river and canal boat taxis within a short walking distance. The staff were always available to help and did so with a smile. We extended our stay as we enjoyed the location and facilities so much. Thanks Zen rooms!

Clean and Quite. ”
Perfect value for money (500-800thb) if you wish to stay in clean and quite rooms nearby the tourist madness and close to the Phra Athit boat pier. Free water refill and hot tea coffee available at any time.

Perfect spot to begin your adventures”
I like the rooms, cold and comfy, but they obliged changing it when they assigned us to the 4th floor because we had seniors. They are nice people, they charge damages appropriately so make sure you do not do anything bad in it. Inspect your room before and after you leave because you don’t want to be charged for things. Overall it’s the perfect jump off point for everything you wanna do in Bangkok, pretty near tourist spots, off beaten track places, tons of food options right outside the hotel. People are very nice. No breakfast though but it is okay.

Nice and simple. The location was not where Agoda showed. The booking was for Erawan across the road. Check your confirmation before heading to the hotel. Zen Rooms is an agent within Agoda.

Should look for somewhere else”
I stayed here 1 night and i think the location was the thing, i mean even the name is not Zen rooms as it inferred. I had to walk along this alley and asked for this hotel which i've already forgotten about their usual name. The room is pretty but old and stuffy. The direction of the bed is against the aircon and that made me think like how could this room been created? also I stayed on the 4th floor which required walking (no elevator for sure). The wall is thin, so i could hear anyone's talks which as you know, Khaosan Road is alive day and night so there are many persons walked pass to our rooms which totally annoying. I forgot one thing, the TV was not working, entertaining device is ZERO. Anyway, if you look for a place just to sleep after a tough night, this place might be recommended for you. I'm sorry to be mean but all of this is REAL and happened to me.

Excellent value”
We stay here every time we come through Bangkok. It’s just far enough away from Khao San to be quiet, but it’s still very close. Tons of bars/restaurants/shops just steps away. The staff is also very kind and accommodating, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Basic room, good for a stay in Bangkok”
The room was basic and small. It was clean, AC was working well. After I talked to the staff some words, they were really kind and helpful. Location is good if you like to stay in the old quarter. Khaosan road is a few minutes walk. Walls/doors are thin, if there are crazy people in the night, you might wake up.

Very nice staff and hotel”
Very nice small room, clean and comfy. Staff was incredibly friendly all the time. Very good location close to everything but not overcrowded. Like it. Few small things, the hotel isn't brand new and cleaning wasn't done in 4 day, still that was not a problem for us and for the price seems fair that why i still put them 5 stars

The hotel is situated in a very good position, very close to famous Khaosan road. The staff is very friendly and kindly and can help you in everything you need. Unfortunately the room it wasn't like in the picture, very small and whitout frigobar. The hotel no has elevator but enough clean. Price not expensive but i could reccomend just for few nights

1 night stay”
We did stay only one night in Bangkok stopover. So the only good thing was location. Very close to the pier, bus stop and other street stuffs. Others like cheap things are cheap. Room was small that means it is not a good choice if you are staying more than a day.

Such nice staff and clean rooms ”
The staff here was so sweet and the rooms were clean and very good value for your money. Only complaint would be that when you shower water gets everywhere and is sometimes hard to drain out of the bathroom. Would recommend tho, right near koh son road but in a more quiet area

great location in busy tourist street 5 min walk from khao san road. endless restuarant and street food options. room is updated clean and quiet from street noise. highly recommend. staff very helpful and friendly. ferry 2 min walk to wat arun and royal palace.

Very good GuestHouse. Very nice place and calm. Rooms are simple but it’s ok. Wifi ok, tv ok, bathroom ok ! Staff is very helpful and nice. We will come back in this GuestHouse ! Box Thai are just near the GuestHouse every Sunday. Perfect place :)

Ok for somewhere to lay your head but I wouldn’t return. Shared areas are tired and worn down. Room was very basic, despite being a superior double and apparently we were upgraded upon arrival. The bed was really uncomfortable with springs in your back and the bathroom was very tired. It was pretty clean as the main plus point, no complaints with bathroom but there were a few small stains on the bedsheets and towels. As it says on the tin really- basic!
