Great budget solution”
This is a no-frills offer in a new building a very short taxi ride from Marina Bay. There is no real reception as such - when you arrive your passport details are recorded and you're given a key and swipe cards allowing access to property, floor and room. The room was clean and stark (nice modern bathroom with good hot water and water pressure) - wardrobe, bed, desk and stool. No fridge, but electric jug. Door led onto a small deck. WiFi had its down times, but during working hours was usually OK. At a fraction of the price of a hotel room this is an excellent deal for those on a tight budget. While in Geylang, it is on a main road, close to but well separated from the nightlife which may (or may not) offend some sensitive travellers... I'd stay here again.

Exceptional”
It's close to bus stops. 15 mins walk to Aljunied. Not far from Geylang so you get more food options, but not too close either that you won't be bothered with many ppl or traffic. Also within walking distance to Old Airport Rd Food Court. The room was comfortable with basic amenities.

Simple hotel with solid wall room ”
It just a converted from apartment to hotel. Without lobby, just a simple desk in front of the security room. Lady in charge speak simple English. Room small but is ok for the money you pay. Clean and simple room. But corridor without air cond is too hot for hot and humid Singapore. Location is good and it is between Aljunied MRT and Mountbatten MRT. Just few step walk to nearby bus station. Towards north direction is residential area with wet market which provide cheap breakfast ($2). Fair price shop(24hrs) and big food court (Old Airport Road Foor Center) is nearby provide many good food and cheap price goods. Try dont go to Aljunied MRT area as there are too many China origin restaurant unless you want to get China food. Phone SIM card can get from small phone stall around Aljunied MRT. I get my $6 M1 SIM card which i can get $1 call and 1GB data for 3 days.

Room is small but comfortable for 2 pax. Luv it coz it has a main gate which separate it from being a budget or hourly hotel. Location is nearby food. It is actually an apartment. If u need to find zen hotel. There is no signboard. Look out for evergreen apmt.

Good deal for Singapore”
About the Redlight Area Issue: It is not very obvious, true. But when we arrived at the hotel there where two women lingering around the gate and on one day a neighbouring room was used with a prostitute, we had to listen to the histerical laughters and other obvious noises. Its definetly no nice feeling, makes you feel like beeing in a cheap by-hour-hotel...it would have been even worse if we were with children there. We think that a decent Hotel should not allow Prostitutes to bring in....!!! At the wall behind our Pillows there strains of some liquid running down the wall, which was a bit suspect and regarding in that matter. It was sometimes also loud not just from coming and going guests,but also the staff would chat and laugh loudly around 4 or 5 am while working in the hallway (although there is a camera on each level, no one seemed to care about that matter). Still the place in a good value for Singaporean standards. The front room was too noisy from the main road, we changed to the backside. On the top flor there is a laundry for little money which we really appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff are very accommodating. It is also very close to train station (Aljuneid), close to restaurants too. Thank you for the great customer service :) Room is clean and comfortable to sleep in.

Good budget hotel”
It's a small room here, but there are in New York City too. Room is clean, shower has a partition so the floor won't get wet. There is a lockable drawer for your valuables. I thought this was in Chinatown, it isn't but if you use the Metro system, that is the best way to get around. BTW, it is listed for the Chinatown area. WARNING, don't let them make arrangements to the hotel. The cost would be $55. No one was there for me. They make you promise to agree to the price. My bad for not checking the rate of exchange, The ground company was unprofessional. They had to call back and forth. I wasn't told where to meet them. Since no one held a placard with my name, I went to the arrival pick up. No such luck. One would think if they waited (somewhere) for the hour I was waiting for them, perhaps they could try the arrival pick up. When I called, they could have said "oh yeah, go to such and such a place. They are there"....but NO. I took a metered cab, and that ended up being about $20. Barring that, if you know how to get there, you can take the Metro, the cheapest option. There is no place to eat here, and no phone, but it's otherwise good

The hotel staff were nice and friendly but I had a few problem with the room. There was a really bad smell in the bathroom on my first night. The towels were old and bed sheet wasnt that clean. Short stay can do but not for long. Its quite near to the MRT station (5-6mins walk)

Definitely value for money ”
You get good value when you stay here. About 20 minutes walk to the Aljunied train station. Staff were helpful. You can even do laundry here, which is a plus when you are travelling. My only problem was the bidet in our room was just a hose. And putting it off meant water leaked to the floor. But everything was good all things considered. Room was cleaned daily.

You get what you pay for”
This guesthouse was about 700 m from the MRT which was easy to use and get around. I attended a seminar at a location nearby and the guesthouse was convenient. However, the room did not feel clean. There was a thin quilt on top but no top sheet on the bed. It was not clear if the quilt is changed daily or even after the previous guest. There was internet, coffee maker, TV, and bathroom. Noise was an issue as I could hear neighbouring rooms. Also there was nowhere nearby to get meals. The staff was very polite and helpful. The price for the room was as expected. I would not stay here again mainly because of location.

The hotel is located in the red light district, but I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable walking around at night. Pros - gated/ key card access means extra protection (key card needed to access the grounds) - many restaurants, shops, and a 7-11 nearby - distance from the metro and several bus stations (about 7 minute walk to the metro) - friendly staff Cons - small room is better suited for 1 adult - insects are able to crawl under the door - no hot water - noise all around you, room is not sound proof A huge cockroach found its way under the door to my room but was exterminated shortly after entering. There was no hot water at any point during my 4 night stay. There is a switch labeled "heater," but messing with that did nothing to change the water temperature. You can hear people in the hall, people in their rooms, and all kinds of noise from outside. I wasn't disturbed at night when sleeping but was woken up earlier than I wanted to by noise.

An unpleasant experience ”
Book this hotel as our flight arrived late in the night and we wanted to find a place to stay for the night and the review score seems ok. However upon arrival at night , the room is small with bare minimum . the blanket is not found , the toilet is dirty and the shower glass door is full of stain mark. Other hotel nearby is better - at the same price range
