We enjoyed our stay”

Please read the whole of this review. We read many reviews on this hotel and some were awful. A lot of the higher reviews seem to be from a long time ago. The hotel is good value especially if you grab a last minute deal. The important things in our room were clean. It had clean sheets and a clean bathroom. The toilet seat was plastic and a little scruffy but I believe it had been cleaned. The walls had a few area that needed a little TLC. For example, the TV had been removed and there were cables and scuff marks on the wall. In another area the paint was wearing off and there was a few small patches on the bathroom ceiling that needed a little attention. This was not a problem for us. If you want perfect pay 5X more. We stayed for 4 days and before this in a hotel that is quite well known, that cost double. It wasn't really any better! The door has a card that opens it but it appears that the battery in the door has gone. It appeared to us that the hotel aren't going to replace this in a hurry. Is it a huge issue, not really. The reception is manned 24 hours and the staff are used to letting people in their rooms with the master key. When we first arrived at the hotel the manager was at the front desk. We showed him our deluxe queen room booking and he looked a little confused. It appears that how the hotel describes the rooms is different to Agoda. The word deluxe is not a good word to use in the description of the room. He explained that the room would be small and we negotiated to receive a room with a window. There was a little confrontation on arrival because of these mismatched descriptions. After 4 days we had built a good relationship with the manager and the staff and we enjoyed speaking with them. The hotel is in a great location in Little India. It is about 10 minutes to KL Sentral where free electric buses allow you to explore a lot of the city, Bukit Bintang, China Town etc. Overall, the hotel not perfect but for the money it is a good deal.
