Secure via key card. No cable just free air tv, no rags near bathroom, toilet not functioning especially the flush, no hot shower, staff not so friendly. Location is good near Gmall and vans to different Davao province.

Not Zen! Palm Residence. Great room in china town”
When you are looking for this hotel, you must look for PALM RESIDENCE, there is no sign visible from the street that says ZEN Rooms. As I understand, Zen is a kind of marketing rooms from all kind of hotels, that can offer a good price. But the place itself is named Palm Residence. This room is located in the so called China Town area. It is surrounded by all kinds of shops and eateries. It is close to most attractions downtown in Davao City. I was able to park my motorcycle just outside the hotel, in front of a Pharmacy. The building itself has 3 floors, with a large open space on each floor. Tables, chairs and hot/cold water are available there. The matress were good, the room of an acceptable size and standard, considering the price. They have hot shower and a decent toilet bowl with seating ring. There are plenty of contacts for charging you phone etc, and they have a nice flat screen TV with some good channels. I saw a cockroach on the floor, just beside my bed, but no problem

close to gaisano-mcdonalds and many other restaurants--in the city--plenty of transport available--location and price is the key-cannot do better --hot shower, air con,clean rooms,limited cable TV--if on a budget good value

Ok hotel, but not any food or room service ”
Cheap and clean, staff is nice. It’s near 7 eleven so you can have your breakfast there. Also 3 minutes walk to the biggest Gaisano mall in Davao with all you need for shopping and restaurants.

Location is very convenient. Wifi service is reliable. Spacious room Downside: The receptionist seemed more focus on her snack than entertaining guests. Forgot to give the remote for tv. No elevator, keycard is limited (the room boy will open the door) Stairways are sometimes wet due to airconditioned cleaning. Low water pressure Doors are open if its unoccupied causing mosquitos to enter the room..

PROS: -The only thing that this place has an advantage is the location because it is near to Gmall, restaurants around and within the city proper. -The staff are accommodating and friendly. CONS: -When we arrive there parking area was really hard to find. We manage to talk to the security guard to move the "reservation stand board" to position the car near to the place for us to conveniently unload our luggage. -They let us check-in at exactly 1500 hrs or 3 pm (as per policy). -No free water and coffee in the room as complimentary. -No lift or elevator -No cabinet -The other light bulb is not working -The A/C is somewhat not functioning 100% -The shower's hot and cold system is not working

All negative. As soon as I arrived, I complained to the reception..Bed sheets dirty, bath mat very very dirty. Toilet small. Air con noisy. My room was close to the street (you can imagine..). it's's not expensive, but next time I'll change hotel. Never again here.

Initially booked the place because it looks nice and clean in the picture. Was very shocked with the room when we got there. It was very dirty. There are lumps of dust everywhere. The toilet has pee stains. There's a cockroach in the cabinet. There are stains in the walls and bed. The aircon is not well maintained and is very noisy. Someone knocked aggressively in our room too late at night. The room they gave us wasn't the room we booked
