AC Doesnt work”
First thing I have to do is call the technician for fixing the command board that next to the head bed for the light control. Moreover I have to called them again to fix the AC, it work for sometime then stop working so it kinda really hot during the night thus I have to open the windows to vent the air. The shower gel in the bathroom is empty, the sink blocked, TV speaker is completely corrupted. If you looking for a hotel for relax then skip this one.

Everything was ecxellent except the parking they dont have guard to organize in and out. My car with scrached by some car and I only foundout 1 day after my checkout. No one reported that to me. Carefull for your car.

Staff Need Improvement”
When i came to the hotel they have taken me to a room in the tower which had a queen bed, even though my reservation says that it should be a king bed room. When i informed the male reception about it, he said that the queen bed is in fact a king bed while it is not. Then, told the bellboy to show me one of the hotel rooms, since i have been there two weeks ago and know that they are much better. Naturally, the hotel room had a king bed and i chose to stay at it even when my reservation was for an "Executive Room". I was really tired when i came to the hotel, so arguing on clear and obvious subjects wasn't something i can appreciate. Overall as i have noted on my last visit the staff are not very helpful. After the checkout i waited around 15 minutes to get my clothes back from the hotel's laundry.

A few issues this trip”
Been here many times before and I had been good but this time there were a few problems. On checking I had asked for a non smoking room with double bed. None were available. First offered a smoking room which I rejected as I have asthma then offered a non smoking twin room, with my wife I don't think so. Then the staff put me into their apoartment block in the same compound. Ok I give credit for doing this but when you book and agree on a certain room type it should be available. Next the building work. I was staying 2 nights and each morning awoken at 7am with the thump thump of a nearby piling rig driving piles. This joyful tune then added at 8am by internal hotel renovation ( hammer drills etc) so basically no chance of sleep past 7am :-( so be aware and I would suggest confirming first. Staff did their best and were sympathetic but not having the room I booked and then putting me in a building with fairly major work going on starting at 8am is really not what I expect.

Good but never mind the breakfast”
Breakfast is more for the middle eastern crowd , so don't pay the extra for it because you'll hate yourself. But Beniginas restaurant (American chain) is attached to the hotel. If your a westerner, like pork or if you want more then beans. Save your 5-8BD and go there.

This was my first time staying at Al Safir Hotel and Tower. When I arrived in the morning I was informed that my room was not ready which is find. However I noticed the lady behind the desk who happened to be of Filipino descent was giving preferential treatment to another Filipino but allowing him early check in. Luckily the other Filipino was able to talk her into giving early check in as well but that's kind of ridiculous and unprofessional. The parking attendant was helpful and kind.

Good deal”
We stayed 2 nights. Only downside was they could not find the reservation, took a little while to sort but they did bring refreshments. The security was a little over zealous at night. But the worst thing was the quality of coffee at breakfast, otherwise the breakfast was adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful, the wifi was fast the bed was big clean and comfortable..

It’s just ok”
The WIFI sucks, almost there’s no signal at all, if you got lucky and could connect, it’ll disconnect you within 5 seconds. The TV channels, very limited, and you’d lose the signal every 10 seconds, si it’s better to be turned off. Check-in took too long, I was ignored for 10 minutes, even though i was the only one standing there. I booked non-smoking room, but i got smoking, promised me to be changed but never happened. Upon check out, i saw a weird thing, a Bahraini family had 2 rooms, abd already checked in, but when the rest of the family tried to get in, the didn’t allow them even though they are all relative and have IDs, they kept saying that is the house rules, which is completely ridiculous.

Location is good, it's almost on the main road, and within walking distance to a shopping mall, size of the room and bathroom is good, it needs to take more care of cleanliness just like any other hotel in the area.

I was asking the receptionist to provide me a replacement card key since I forgot mine in the room , the lady and the Indian kept me waiting and igonred me , I really pissed off and I was shouting and arguing until they gave me , very bad experience with this hotel .

I have been to this hotel several times and prices vary greatly. It's in Julfair so a good location but it is sometimes difficult to get a taxi so better if you have your own car. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hotel has all the things you normally want. Checking in varies greatly in experience, some staff are great others close to being hostile. But once you have your room the rest of the staff are good.

Big room and breakfast was very good Staff were very lazy specially an Arabiclady at reception in eveining was totally non cooperative No wallet Parking and mostly you have to Park the car urself under sun No Hot tub/Jaccuzi although it was mention in hotel facilities Room is not sound proof and u are disturbed by many heavy bikes sound in the night So overall not recommended for the price they are charging

Stayed in this hotel when I went to Bahrain. The location of the hotel is good, the price is even better. The staffs are helpful and attentive. The wifi connection though is not so good. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this hotel. It's a nice play to stay.

room size and amenities, price, location
I stayed there for 2 nights. I was on the 8th floor but on the street side and it was loud at night. I switched to another room away from the street and had a good night sleep. La Cucina retaurant is very good. The rooms are big, but not very decorated. The bedding was not the most comfortable. Some rooms had more amenities than others, like bath robes and slippers. The staff were very accomodating, but checkout was lengthy as they had to check the mini-bar before checking the customer out.

Clean, huge rooms & fast internet.
Over-all my stay at Al Safir hotel is memorable and great. Though this hotel are few minutes away from City Center of Bahrain still I love this serenity of this hotel day and night. The comfort of the room is exceptional to me and I don't want to get out from my bed due to linens are really comfy. Ambience is good too though food is "ordinary" still there are other things that I agree to give a 2-thumbs up to this hotel. Other fastfood restauratns are available nearby due to it's proximity to the US/American base. There's an Italian restaurant right at the footsteps of the hotel, Cucina Italiana Bahrain and Bennigans, good food and good ambience.

When i made the resevation i accidently cose december 15 instead of nov 15. When i phoned agoda to change that no one told me they will charge me a fee to change the reservation datw, on the paper they emailed me it said 100 dollars cost for the change. That is rediculous, as the hotel room only cost 110 dollars. It did not cost agoda one cent to make any changes, i phoned in my phone to make the changd, why charge people such a rediculous amount. If i knew that it would cost me that much, i would hVe left the reservation as is, and made an extra reservation for november, and came vack fir decenber. I littereally threw 100 dollars in the water. Noy impressed with agoda at all. I emailed them a similar enail right after i noticed the tge 100 dollar charge, but guess what no reoly back. Unacceptable! Everytime i use agoda i hhve problems of sine jind....last time though
