Have stayed here a few times over the years and the hotel still has its charm and has had some maintenance done.
Room I had was huge and clean.
Staff are very friendly and more than willing to help with information etc.
Will stay again next time in Jaipur.
Thanks for a lovely stay.
Thankyou for your comments. We look forward to see you again.
run down and nowhere the value of what we paid”
This place was recommended by lonely planet and advertised as a grandeur haveli.. What we got is far from that.. We booked a deluxe chamber, when they took us to the room, it was old, dusty and the aircon doesnt work. It was 37 degrees outside and inside. They finally moved us to other smaller room with working aircon after we complained. The hotel facilities and the room is nowhere near the value of what we paid, no working wifi in the room, the hotel located in a slum, the building is not well maintained, the swimming pool is dirty and the sheet has a few holes. They disputed the free mediocre breakfast and wants to charge extra eventhough our hotel voucher stated included breakfast. I was looking forward to unwind and enjoy the hotel but it's just so dissappointing that the place feels like a run down and not the value of what we paid. Do yourself a favour and choose many other hotels with same price and way better quality.
Lovely Heritage Hotel”
For the price we paid, the hotel offered great value. The room, Bishan Chamber, is relatively clean and definitely spacious, and was connected to a small courtyard area with a swing. The compound offers plenty of areas to relax and chill, be it by the poolside, the lounge, the front courtyard, or simple anywhere with a chair (trust me, there are plenty around).
The hotel is a short walk from the City Walls and a local market. There're loads of food options if you'd like to venture out for a little adventure.
Finally, the staff were all friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Jaipur!
The hotel was lovely; large rooms and plenty of different seating areas. The food was OK and the staff not overly friendly. However the location for the pink city bazaars was great
For the very real feel of a family palace still inhabited by its owners (pictures, library, piano, mémentos of years gone by,.....)
very friendly staff
only downside the wifi does not work in the rooms with a view
Good hotel with nice Service, location is very bad”
Good service n nice environment in the hotel, but situated in bad n dirty area.
Very hard for taxis and tuktuks to find - signalization needed”
Worst place ever stayed ”
Its really sad and painful i chose this property to celebrate my 10th anniversary.. the location is in between garbage..(no exaggeration physically u can check) and behaviour of staff is as if thry
No customer service”
They never reply to your emails
We initially booked the hotel for three nights but decided to stay one day longer. We stayed in "honeymoon suite" - lovely decorated room with bathroom surrounded by little garden just in front of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was excellent with choice of food including juices and fruits. Staff was helpful and if they could not answer immediately, willing to phone and find out more. The location is great as well - far away from busy street (meaning very quiet) yet within short walking distance from Pink City. Highly recommended.
Amazing historical stay, feel like an explorer of the early days”
Really nice stay at a reasonable price! The breakfast was good and the room was spacious! The main building felt almost like a museum! Pool was nice but very cold and al the lounge seats were all broken. But that is only if I start nitpicking!
