Small and cozy, good breakfast and the most lovely and helpful host ever! He will take you and pick you up from the slopes everyday and generally go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable! What more could you want? Definitely would recommend
exceptional hospitality, and good breakfast btw
Incredibly friendly hosts, good Nepalese style food.”
The owner and his wife were incredible hosts. Both speak some broken English which was enough to get by for those of us that speak no Japanese at all. He offered us a ride to the ski slopes in the morning. There was a blizzard the night of our stay so we ate dinner there as well which was warm and comforting Nepalese curry and a bottle of sake. The beds are firm but we still slept well after a long day on the slopes. Everything is very clean. The experience felt much more authentic than our other night at the Hilton Niseko. I would stay here again.
Exotic guest house”
breakfast bread; peaceful environment and nice staff
the guest house owner, Yama San, is very nice who provide free shuttle to the guests every morning to the ski venue. Yummy breakfast! a great hot spring spa is 5 min walk to the guest house.
Great cosy and clean place with great breakfast! ”
Me and my sister stayed at Bistare Kana Inn and were very well taken care of by Yama-San and his wife throughout our 8 nights there! It really felt like home with a hearty world class breakfast at 8am sharp everyday interjected with a daily weather update by Yama-San himself! It felt great to know that we could go back after sunset for dinner which was also world class! You must try their Nepal Curry Rice set! The bathrooms are shared but that's okay because it's so clean! Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Bistare Kana! We would recommend it to everyone!
Hospitality at its finest”
Helpful staff, privacy, quieter but not isolated location
The biggest thing about this guest house is how amazing the staff is. We had our snowboards shipped and had trouble with getting them delivered in time, and the host called and updated us while we waited. When it came time to go, he even called the delivery service for us to organize the gear pick-up after we had to catch the bus back to Sapporo. someone was always on call to drive us to the nearby (though uphill) Annupuri resort, and even come pick us up afterwards - if it wasn't during th 2 hour window of dinner.
Breakfast was promptly at 8 and filling, no complaints about food! This is definitely quieter than the big hostels and hotels near Hirafu or the main city area, but it was nice to have a relaxing place to sleep after hours of day and night snowboarding. If you're looking for a more social setting to meet people, though, this may not be the place for you.the nearby onsen was a blessing after long days on the slopes, and only 5 minutes away. Also, the Niseko United bus line has a stop right outside.
We had an awesome few days staying st Bistare Kana! Would recommend staying here to friends for sure.
Good location, nice owners, good food”
The location of Bistane Kana is very good, a few minutes away from Niseko Annapuri, there are several options around to dine and experience onsens. The owners are nice and helpful, they helped us to deal with ski rental and book the ski passes at discount price. They provides us with a lot of advices on the area and activities. The food is very good. This accommodation is expensive but it's the same for all guesthouse in Niseko area.
