the hotel is a little Oasis in the dusty town of Puerto Iguazu. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Relaxing at the cosy pool after touring Iguazu falls in the heat was a dream. Breakfast was very nicely presented and tasty. loved the food and atmosphere at the fine dining Italian Restaurant - very yummy. can highly recommend this place.
Boutique hotel with fantastic restaurant”
- hotel is located away from the touristy part of town, which is great because it's quiet
- the restaurant is fantastic, and afforably priced for its quality
- the staff are really friendly and helpful. They even went to the extent of arranging early breakfast for us at 5.30am on our last day as we had an early flight to catch.
- It's a little far from the rest of town, but we liked to walk, and we didnt mind the 20 mins walk to the town centre
Cute hotel with pool”
Open area has lots of mosquitos, but maybe because you're near the jungle. Wifi only worked near front desk they were having network problems. Hotel is outside the main area so you have to taxi for 50pesos one way. There's a bus stop to the falls one block away very convenient though.
Rooms in the hotel were super nice, toilet was also clean and nice with a premium feel but the sink was too small so water kept splashing around. There's even a pool and jaccuzzi but I havent seen anyone swim. Breakfast is okay very simple but creatively presented on a giant wooden palette.
Tranquilness of the room, helpfulness of the staff, excellent catering service
Everything is perfect. I miss the two cats the most though.
Very nice room!”
Breakfast, bed and staff
This hotel is slightly out of the way in terms of getting to the hub of town, however that appealed to us, as we wanted a bit of peace! The staff are excellent and the owner very friendly and attentive. We received a glass of champagne on arrival and our bags were brought to our room. The room itself was very comfortable with a huge bed and an excellent shower and jacuzzi bath. There is a jacuzzi outside, however it was too cold for us to use it. The hotel is slightly over priced I felt, but with little options we booked this and the breakfast alone made up for our disappointment in the over pricing. If you are looking for something very central, this is not the place. We used here as a base for Iguasu Falls and it did the job for us.
A beautiful oasis”
Beautifully appointed room, private tropical courtyard and amazing food in the restaurant
We had a delightful stay, the hotel was a haven when we had finished sightseeing at the incredible Iguazu Falls. The staff were all very helpful and all spoke good English.
Luxury Botique Hotel”
This was a fantastic botique Hotel. if you looking for relaxation try come here. The massage was great and so was the breakfasts in the morning. Julio the driver was SUPERB!!
Great service but extra service tax at end”
It was a nice little oasis but a little out of the way. If you don't mind walking a bit then it's fine. Only con was that got hit with the extra service tax at the end.
Emotionell and skilled positive attitude”
The service-minded attitude and feeling for details
Being there is a touch of "paradise". Enjoyed good food and wine with a coulourfull parrot looking at us. The breakfast tray with special designed carved space for egg, bread, etc.
Almost like a B & B”
small, family owned and run, excellent location
The staff were incredibly useful by way of recommending restaurants, sights etc. Enjoyed that the hotel was so small, as all the staff knew us, even though we only stayed a few days. Would definitely stay again.
a great place to relax, very friendly staff
This is a great place to stay when you come to visit the Falls. The rooms are very comfortable, if a bit short of hanging space, and the gardens are a lovely place to relax. The breakfast was very nicely presented on wooden trays. The personal service reflects the fact that it's a hotel where the owners are present - we thought we'd have to miss breakfast the day we left, but were able to get it at 6am!
You don't need to get a taxi to the Falls, just walk 5 minutes up the road and get the bus for 20 pesos (less than 2 euros) return. It takes about half an hour. Going to the Brazilian aise it's much easier to take a taxi, as they get preferential treatment at the border crossing, so it's much quicker.
The food in the hotel is delicious but greatly overpriced. Much better to walk 20 minutes into town where you have a choice of restaurants.
Beautiful hotel with separate lodges”
They have cute and beautiful garden, small pool, tasty breakfast.
The hotel was relaxing before and after full day at Iguazu fall. Wifi connection was not good but bearable.

a great retreat lovely food nice rooms.
a little expensive and 15 minute walk to town, but this did not take away the plesure of staying at this hotel. staff all helpful
Very good hotel but rooms a bit hot and stuffy.”
convenient location. helpful staff. Clean with good facilities and good price.
we enjoyed our stay at hotel de la fonte. our shared room was comfortable but we would have liked a window. breakfast was great in a room with a view. the hotel is in a very convenient location, near the plaza and other places of interest. the price was also very reasonable. would be happy to stay there again if we are lucky enough to get back to quito.
nice swimming pool
the hotel with a nice swimming pool which create a tropical atomosphere for the guests
