Swimming pool so nice,, location litter far to centre
Terrible welcoming. No smile from receptionist or saying welcome. Just gave us a paper to sign and gave us our keys. No one to help with our luggage. Not told about the pool or gym on floor until asked. Had to pay for 2 small coffees. Had to pay 300baht from their own taxis at hotel to get to our next hotel 3 minutes away.
Rooms and pool and gym is really nice.
Have to walk abit to get to main road for food especially at night no facilities close enough for dinner.
No sign to put on door to clean but had to ask for more towels and toilet paper etc. They need to improve on their guest skills and relationship.
Location is fine I’f you rent a scooter to get around otherwise will be inconvenient to get around although they do have a shuttle bus 3 times daily to Patong area for free. Rooms are large and relatively clean. I do fee the cleaners could do a better job considering it’s a serviced apartment though. On most days the simply wiped things down and wiped the floor with a towel. For the rates I paid I fee the cleaning should be more detailed than that. Like actually mopping the floors with floor cleaning Chemicals and washing the shower and bathroom with spray and wipe including the kitchen also. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. All being said the 2 week stay was enjoyable and no real complaints from me at all.
Good for long stays”
Mildly inconvenient location as taxi drivers added more to date due to the "hill". With own transport, it's a fantastic easy to locate location. Quiet and away from hustle and bustle.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!”
This Hotel was my worse experience in Thailand. I stayed in 6 different Hotels along my stay in Thailand, and Emerald was the last one, where I've spent 3 nights. To begin with, I booked a studio with sea view, but as soon as I got in in the room for my disappointment, there was only a building in construction in front and full of trees blocking the view. Besides that, they were supposed to offer a breakfast, but it was ridiculous what they offered. Bread with nothing to put on, cereal but no milk. A pot of tea and Black coffee, just that. I thought, perhaps I got late for the breakfast (8.30am). The day After I went down a bit earlier and guess what? It was worse, because there was no even bread this time. So I decided to have only one cup of coffee and I was waiting for the shuttle bus, once I finished my coffee, the staff came from the reception to charge me 50 Bahts for that. Are you serious?
To conclude, they hotel lies about their service, bad hotel staff and awful location.
