My friend and I wanted to stay at a traditional Hanok but we didn't want to be squished in a tiny place. This location was exactly what we were looking for. It was a little bit of a walk away from the main streets, but it was worth it for the beautifully kept gardens and the serenity of the location. We arrived later than expected and because of a lack of internet connection at the time, we were not able to advise the owner of our delay. She still greeted us with a smile and had expressed concern/worry for us.
The room was cosy and came with the necessities (modern bathroom, heated floor, TV, hair dryer, aircon etc). Our host was also so motherly towards us and offered fresh fruits and tips on where to visit locally.
If you do not speak basic Korean, communication will be a challenge, but if you want a serene genuine hanok experience, this will be it.
