The pros: decent location, and relatively clean. The manager is reasonably friendly.
The cons: Are MANY. I would avoid staying here if you can.
First, staff completely unhelpful. At first, I thought this was just the youngish guy working on the Sunday when I arrived, but in fact the same was true for the main director/administrator during the week. Very poor customer service.
The Wifi was not working for 2 days, and the manager basically blamed it on my laptop. Eventually, he got someone to come in to try to fix it. The room was VERY hot, and I asked for a fan (the little cooling unit they put in the room barely works), and the manager said he would get me one, but he never did. The shower ran out of water (while I was in the middle of the shower, covered in soap), and when I asked, the owner said that the water level was low and he would need to turn on the pump, but acted as if I should have known this, and it was all my fault.
There are cheaper ways to stay in Miraflores; I do not recommend this one.
great location, nice rooms, good price for locale”
good location in Miraflores; very quiet at night; amazing dog named Jhonny Walker Black!
We had a very pleasant stay at F1, wish it could have been longer! Although breakfast is not an option, they have a very well-stocked kitchen with all sorts of teas, in addition to a refrigerator, cutlery, plates and cups, a toaster oven, etc. The pool is too cold to go in (in my opinion!) but is a very nice feature to sit by. Our room was spacious and clean and this part of Miraflores is very quiet at night. The restaurant next door (Punto Azul) is a great splurge. Most importantly, they have a sweet, gentle giant named Jhonny who is an award-winning Rottweiler. He is a sweetheart and made our stay extra special!
