The room is small and it is only a place to sleep. Do stay in the room because there are tons of thing to do in the public area, especially if you are into Japanese culture such as comic, the libruary is huge. There is a good restaurant in the hotel and you dont need to go out.
Great place to visit
Nice and budget onsen place ”
It's about 10 minutes bus from Fukuoka station, nice for quick stay over.
This is a hotel that feels like a massage/beauty&wellness resort. It is evident that the hotel caters to the locals as I had difficulty communicating in English with them. No problems with that as I'm more comfortable with the local crowd than encountering international tourists. The moment you check-in, shoes off! After that, be prepared to be amazed by the amount of facilities in this establishment before you make your way to your room. I'll leave it for you to read from the hotel's website.
I booked the Japanese style room for 1 pax (but was spacious enough for 4) and it came with 4 futons/pillows/blankets. Do take note that there is no toilet/sink/showering facilities in the room. Toilets and sinks are along the corridor while you can shower in the communal bath area one level down (expect Japanese onsen). WIFI signal is strong in the room. Aircon control is not centrally managed, which is plus point for me as I could decide on the desired temperature.
As the hotel is slightly away from the main city centre and any subway station, the hotel provides a wonderful shuttle service to/fro three locations in the city centre. As with the Japanese standard with keeping to schedule, you can expect the pick-up timings to be adhered to with military precision.
It's quite amazing that such an onsen hotel exists in Fukuoka city. I will return.
Two thumbs up!
