First time stayed in this hotel, everything feel good.
Good hotel with very nice rooms ”
The room was large with a spacious shower & central location.
Good hotel with easy access to shopping and buffet breakfast. However, the coffee was terrible. The bus service was close by and I was surprised to find clean, air conditioned buses for only 2 yuan.
Staff not helpful”
Maid service, cleanliness, breakfast
Basically my stay was pleasant. Wifi is terrible. If I had not encountered problems and needed some assistance I probably would have said hotel was good. Problem was I lost my phone so I lost all contact with the U.S. I asked to send two emails from a Hotel computer and was told repeatedly by managers I could not. Most managers did not want to speak to me because I spoke English and they were not comfortable speaking English. Fair enough, I had a friend with me, lived in China and spoke Chinese and she tried to relate my problem. Again the staff was not helpful. I tried to buy an ipad so I could use wifi but stores would not accept my credit cards. I had no way to contact family in the U.S. 5 days into my trip I found the manager that had checked me into the hotel the night I arrived. I was able to explain to him my problem and he was sympathetic and let me use a hotel computer. Thank heavens for this man. Unfortunately I do not understand names but if I did I would write the hotel a letter thanking them for the kindness of this man. They should have this man train the staff. If not for him I would be telling everyone to stay away from this hotel. It is unfortunate that only one man in a hotel that size can be relied upon to be helpful when a person has a personal emergency. I am planning to go back to China in Febuary and right now will be looking at other options. I am afraid of what might happen if this man is no longer employed by this hotel when I go back.
