The place is good, but there is 101 bar near this hotel which is so terrible they put one CD every night so loud that after one week you'll know all songs. Very hard to sleep.

Awesome stay”
I enjoyed our stay at Hot Spot. Ate Risa was really accommodating and everything has been settle when we arrived at the property. We even had a room upgrade and it was affordable. From the motor rent, till the surf activity, we liked it. Highly recommended and will stay here again when I come back.

DO NOT STAY HERE ”
Nobody on the island even realizes that hot spot has rooms to rent. They said they give rooms for people to bang in when they're at the bar - pretty sure that's what we were given. Stinky, gross, gross, gross.

Solo Travel”
Being a solo traveler is tough work. The staff was nice enough to help me find the right tours to avail and right person to coordinate with. The CR was a bit disappointing but the room was pretty spacious. Might come back again to this place. 😊

The staff is wonderful. The location is great, right in cloud 9, but not ocean front. The rooms were clean and spacious.

DO NOT say unless you just want to Drink all night”
The cover photo is a complete LIE being taken in a totally different resort, this isn't on the beach or a lagoon as stated but is located slightly in land next to an all night bar. Our first night was starting out ok, the bar next door had music on till about 11 which wasn't too bad, then at 12am the bar at the hostel started playing crappy european trance music extremely loud until 6:30am!! we ended up taking all our bedding down to the beach to get some sleep. This hostel is clearly aimed at people who just want to drink all night and sleep all day which is fine if they'd stated this in the description. The rooms are ok plenty of space but very dark, again works well if your going to sleeping all day. Avoid this place unless you decided to go to a beautiful island with great surf just to drink and pretend your in Ibiza

Great time surfing in Cloud 9 & exploring Siargao”
The location and place has very big potentials.I would say the location is perfect. It just needs a lot of improvement when it comes to the rooms, service (staff), food choices. I am very hopeful because the current manager is a very nice guy (Skol) that he will turn the place into one of the most amazing, budget friendly location in Cloud 9. I will definitely go back and stay in the same place, as long as improvements have been put in place.

Nice location and nice staff but not a nice room”
This was an interesting place. It is just a bar with a few rooms in a row i the back yard. The rooms have potential if they renovated the bathrooms and bought some more furniture and hooks and drying racks. Better screens and mosquito nets would help. The big problem is that this hotel was just bought out by a major resort down the road and is butting heads with an established resort across the road. They responded by this infringement on their territory by throwing up a "club" right beside Hot Spot. So loud club music pumps into they rooms all night and you really can's sleep here. I hope they close the club and make peace so that the nice family that runs Hot Spot doesn't have to deal with the pointless music. Siargao shuts down around 9pm and this club is only there to be a nuisance.

The staff went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed, in or out of the hotel. The pizza is nice and the rooms are great for the price. The Wifi is good too.
