Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.
Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
This was a wonderfully pleasant stay although we only stayed one night. It is a short walk to many terrific restaurants and other sights.
Comfortable stay close to the Plaza”
Location, value, cleanliness
Hotel was good value for the location and standards. The staff were friendly and spoke English well. Hot water was not reliable and the walls were very thin but ear plugs are provided... And needed.
Hotel Del Prado Inn”
Location good, staff helpful.
Location, Staff, and Value.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Prado. The location is excellent, very close to every tourist site in Cusco.
Centre of the World - Cusco”
Location, shopping snd convenient
Great snd awesome! Paid USD80 and I have a very nice hotel room with bathtub
LOCATION, GREAT BREAKFAST & NICE BEDDING
Everybody was friendly and helpful (but one employee at the front desk).
Their breakfast was one of the best we had in Peru. Restaurant, mini bar and laundry prices were very reasonable.Location was perfect (Near the corner of the Main Square).
Del Prado - Cusco”
Location, Price, Free wifi
Noise from nearby nightclubs
Nice Hotel with very attentive staff. Offered complimentary Coco Tea upon arrival. Arrange all taxi's. Probably the nearest hotel to the main square. Unfortunately near one or two nightclubs which make some of the rooms a bit noisy at night.
The hotel is onteh PLaza de la armas-- great location for shopping and eating!
The night club next door is loud at night
Friendly staff and fantastic location! Unfortunately the night club next door is a bit loud and I had to use my ear plugs at night. But it is a beautiful hotel and the value is worth it!
Great Location and Great Value!”
Location, Friendly Staff
Loud nightclub next door! Also, taxis don't pull up in front-- you have to walk briefly on cobble stone in teh square to enter the hotel
The staff at del Prado were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is on the Plaza de Armas in a great location for a tourist. Unfortunately there is aloud night club next door so I had to use the ear plugs they provided to sleep at night but I would stay there again without hesitation.
very good hotel”
strategic location close to the main square, clean, good breakfast, good service
rooms are a little dark
The hotel is very good, in a very good position and clean, service is good.
Great Peruvian Hotel”
Quick access to all the area restaurants and shops
None. This place was perfect and a great price.
The Del Prado Inn was a couple of miles from the main shopping centers, but cabs are very inexpensive in Cusco making it easy to get around and there is quite an abundance of cabs to be found so you'll have no problems traveling within the city limits. The small restaurant at the hotel had some great food and the staff were very hospitable. I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel was practically right next to the Plaza de Armas. The breakfast options were plentiful and filling. My room had a refrigerator and a safe.
My inside room was quite small with a window that saw out to a stairwell, so there was no ventilation. I did hear the noise other reviews described from an apparent nearby night club, but I did not feel it was oppressive.
The staff at the Del Prado were very friendly and helpful. They were able to help me with any needs and answered any questions I had very thoroughly. The hot beverages available right when I walked through the door was a nice welcome after a long flying day. I liked the kind of rustic, historical feel of the place.
I had a nice room facing the street , but however saw some rooms facing inside with no windows at all. Breakfast was good over the weekend , nice selection of fresh fruits and juices . During the week days , very poor. There is a sort of travel agency attched to the reception , but they gave very bad information .
Over all i was satisfied with the hotel, although pictures show the entrance and dining areas to be much larger than they actually are. I saw one room facing inside the hotel with no windows at all, this could be a problem. I had one facing the street and it was noisy from a bar over the weekend . A bit pricey compared to other hotels in Cuzco, but location was excellent.
Very friendly and accommodating staff
Hot water supply was intermittent or non-existent.
No natural light.
This hotel is located right at the Plaza de Armas which is the where there are a lot of restaurants, travel agents and general tourist activity. I had a room which was inside, so there was little noise but no natural light (no windows). I loved the location and the friendly staff.
exceptional location and staff
no direct windows to the plaza
We were very lucky to book in advance two rooms at this hotel since it is a small hotel in the very heart of Cuzco, which is the epicenter of Peru's tourism and adventure.
Most of the travelers experience altitude sickness when they arrive to Cuzco from below 3000m, but the staff was helpful and kind and well trained giving immediate assistance to anyone in need: oxygene, warm cocaleaf tea, etc.
Breakfast is consistent and good. We will certainly be back next year.
Del Prado Hotel in Cuzco, Peru”
- All staff member went out of their way to be helpful
- Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet
- Location is perfect, just off the Plaza de Armas, on a cobblestone street where traffic can go past but cannot stop so actual vehicle traffic is minimal
We ate dinner in the hotel dining room one evening and the "bacon wrapped filet mignon" tasted like bacon wrapped liver; however, our soup and my chicken dish were great.
We stayed 3 days in del Prado Inn, then came back from Machu Picchu and wanted to book a room for 4 more nights. The first 2 nights they were booked, and they not only recommended us to another hotel a couple of blocks away, but actually helped us carry our luggage up two steep cobblestone blocks and made sure that the hotel worked for us.
This perfectly describes their idea of customer service - they go out of their way to help you with any information or service that can be provided. We truly enjoyed staying there.
Del Prado Inn - Great quiet hotel in Cuzco”
They have shutters on the windows which makes it quiet and also dark if you want to sleep in.
It is very well located just off the Plaza de Arms on a street with minimal traffic.
Rooms are clean and comfortable including a small refrigerator.
Breakfast didn't have much variety. Could not get the Internet to work in our room but it did work in the lobby.
We stayed in the Del Prado Inn in Cuzco for 5 days in September. It is an excellent hotel even by American standards. The rooms are a decent size. The bathrooms are clean and well supplied and the shower has plenty of hot water. There is an elevator that works consistently. Best of all, everyone in the hotel goes out of their way to help you in every possible way, and most of them speak at least some English. I was sick for a couple of days, and every time they saw me they asked how I was and whether they could do anything for me. They really made us feel at home.
