the staff are kind enough to offer their sister hotel peking nearby if not satisfied with hotel malaya. the cleaniness at hotel peking is good compared to hotel malaya. review is for hotel peking. hotel peking have private parking.

Could be more clean and without spider webs in the corners. Possibly can be some bedbugs around. Environment a bit noisy but passable. Wifi excellent, hot/cold water, A/C, ceiling fan.

Good hotel but not for TYPICAL traveler ”
About - as in pics it is old hotel - tradition bed, older than me furniture, single wall air con, bathroom with big water boiler and small water tank, old environment - so TYPICAL travelers hope for new hotel or least 2 to 3 stars then u can skip this as this is indeed old hotel imagine 80's or 70's. My experience - everything is OK as I not demand and want for a night sleep = price is good. Good location as in the middle of the town and next to pasar. Staff is helpful.

Pro 1.staff are really friendly 2. Can walk to nearby eateries, shopping mall, 7e, etc Cons 1. Unless you can bear with the Chinese medicine smell then you might stay here just a night with your tight budget 2. There are basic facilities inside big ceiling fan, an useless AC coz not really function, table, 80 century's big TV with one channel, really old fashion water heater still functioning yes, but I checked the bed sheet not really clean, cabinet Once was enough for this experience !

Outdated”
Old stlye bed. Room curtains torn down. Please dont list this kind of hotels in Agoda. Earlier when i called to the hotel request for late check in, the staff i believe is the owner is very rude replying cant hold booking for late checkin and hand up the phone. So i rushed from KL to Taiping manage to reach the place so can get the room, once i saw the room, I'd rather let go the room. So others can get it but i saw nobody check in the place around 7.30pm. Not worth for what we paying.

Air-conditioned rooms with bed(s), wardrobe, TV, and bathroom. 3 layered security (key, slide latch lock, and door chain). Located in the middle of a town, a bit busy. Easy access to food. Parking requires coupons on weekdays

Old school hotel”
Very old hotel, old fabric, old pillow, old cabinet, old bed, old water heater, old tv, old fan and everyrhing OLD but FUNCTIONAL. Even Good Morning towel still exist here. Bed sheet n look ages but feel clean. The pillow from 70s yet still make u fast assleep unsangkarable!! My nose very sensitive to dust n the room is quite clean so i was not sneezing. Pls change to everything new la Management. Live in 2022 not 70's anymore.

The very old and smelly. I really hate it. Tonight i sleep in the car, I'm very broken. My money lost just like that. It's so not fair to me. This hotel so messy, they make the hotel like their own house. Very disappointed. No star.

no amount of renovation can save it”
better for the building to be torn down for rebuilt. putting up in the room, tiptoeing into the bathroom and walking along the corridor makes you feel like you were in a dilapidated haunted house. rotted wood, rusted metal and the pillows reek super awful. paid for 2 days stay but we moved out to a different hotel in less than 3 hours.
