I was positively surprised, very professional and nice reception team, very helpful staff. Room is clean, big and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel located in the center of Jerusalem, closed to old city. Only one negative point: internet worked very bad.
,Well located but very very dirty, won't came again!”
I booked a superior double bed room. Prior to my arrival contacted the hotel asking to get a room with a double bed not 2 tween conected, was answered "no problem"
When got to the hotel of course the room was with 2 tween beds. Could live with that, just that the room I got was filthy. The beds linen were not chanched since the last guests, full with pubic hair, stained, the carpet was not vacuumed and full.of food remains, when I call the reception guy to see it, he admitted to be embarrassed...
They offer us a smaller room with smaller bathroom, saying thus is the only room available. As we had no other choose we agreed and promised that the next day they see what can be done.
The next day we were moved to a bigger room, cleaner with bigger bathroom (though the barroom door was coming out of the wall and couldn't be closed properly) nevertheless, must say that when we got back to the room the last now, opening the room for, we were greeting by 2 cockroaches running across the room.
2 retired lady friends”
Jerusalem Inn was wonderful. It was economical, staff was marvelous and very helpful, location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable with everything that we needed, and breakfast was very good. Would stay here again. Loved it!!!
1 night stay”
Great little place in a great location. Highly recommended.
Nice Hotel, but space for improvement”
We were there for one week. Staff were nice and helpful, breakfast was great! the only facility was the roof top.
Two rooms, one double, one for one person: the staff mistaked them, told us, they are the same, but they were not. One room with safe, the other not.
Towles were changed every day.
Bathroom is full of mold that could be easily removed, but nobody does. No room cleaning the whole week in one of the rooms. one day we had wet stains on our bed. The staff changed the duvet cover quickley.
Warm reception and excellent location.
Very good location, 5-minute walk to the Jaffa Gate, and with the tram stations and bus stations nearby. Almost near the Jaffa road, a charming road, with plenty of stores, and a piano! People sing and dance with musicians playing the piano very night on Jaffa road! Fantastic!
Surprisingly great breakfast! Not a buffet, but a set (freshly made after order): fried eggs with salad, unlimited supplies of bread and cheese, fresh juice, coffee, and fresh yogurt.
Room is comparatively small, but with a balcony. Toilet is very small, and the door opens to the bed, with no supplies of toiletry. Shower is hot.
Location very nice ”
The hotel is very well located, very close to the old city and in a place where you can walk and eat . The breakfast is good, but you have the option to go to their hotel hotel which is three blocks away where the breakfast is awesome. Didn't like the bathroom is too small and uncomfortable.
Close to old town, but grim”
The hotel lacks sound proofing and is next to a row of all night bars, which have a rowdy clientèle. Rooms are very old, tired and of dubious hygiene - bad smell, hair from previous occupants left on pillows etc. For the price, you can do better.
Best value for money”
Cleanliness , location and price.
This hotel is probably the best for the money you will find in Jerusalem. So clean and comfortable, the location is the best you can get and the breakfast is very nice. I would recommend any one to stay there, just fantastic.
Location, friendliness of staff, room size
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, had everything we needed. Rooms and bathrooms very clean, the shower was fantastic! Nice breakfast with lots of options. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. It is an an ideal location for exploring Jerusalem. Only a 10 minute walk to the Old City and right in the heart of the social scene of the city, a short walk to Ben Yehuda Street. People of Jerusalem like to stay up late! We had a room facing the street and could hear people and music into the early hours. This is out of the hotel's control, and didn't bother us. However, if you are a light sleeper perhaps ask for a room that faces the rear of the hotel. Otherwise, would definitely recommend.
Awesome vivid and cosy hotel quietly located”
Central location within walking distance to all gems of Jerusalem, cosy and quiet with helpful staff
I really enjoyed my stay in Jerusalem Inn. It is very conveniently located, within walking distance to all important spots but in the area full of atmospheric pubs and bars which stay open even during Shabbat. Staff was very helpful and available 24/7. My room, even though small (I prefer such), was very comfortable and quiet - no loud neighbours etc. Taking into consideration price of accommodation in Jerusalem, it was definitely worth money paid.
I like this hotel!”
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast..
good location, tough parking, good value for money”
about 20 minutes walk to the old city. 2 minutes walk to location with all restaurants and were people spend the evening.
Good location & pleasant staff but a very poor advertisement for Jerusalem hospitality.”
Torn bed sheets, dusty surfaces within the room, dirty finger marks on the mirror, NO hot water in the hand basin, the water fawcet knocking, the hand basin blocked. So - not the hotel I'd recommend & definitely an overpriced establishment not worth anything like the rate paid on line
Horrible place, good location”
This place was awful. It was dirty, the staff wad extremely unpleasent and unhelpful (didn't even tell us that breakfast was in different hotel). Though orderd superior room, got small, unclean room with tiny balcony (big enough for one person to stand in). The bathroom-shower door and wall were made of glass, which although not completely transparent, was pretty see-through.
In the morning a staff member tried to enter our room (with a key!) and when we opened the door - asked when we were leaving. The manager was unimpresessed by this and said "the cleaner had made a mistake".
Staying in this place was a mistake.
Nice room... loud every night people dinking. Couples.. twin beds just zip up together ”
Great location.....walking distance to all the sites. Close to bus stasion,a 10 min walk or take rail just 2 stations your close to this hotel.. noisy every night,a bar just below and they drank and it was loud every night. If you get a room with breakfast its a five min walk to a dif hotel. I was mad at first but wasnt a big deal..
GREAT HOTEL, STAFF, LOCATION AND PRICE BUT NO SLEEP”
The hotel, the staff, the location and the breakfast were wonderful. The big downside is that many rooms overlook a bar that is noisy with outdoor tables and music into the small hours. One simply cannot sleep!
Noise from the bars next to the hotel”
Good variety of breakfast buffet. Quite new. 3 mins to cafe and restaurant.
The noise from bars next to the hotel drive me crazy. it happened not just at night but in the afternoon. we called the front desk and ask for help. they said they will try to ask the bars to lower the volume of the music. but they said it is not after 11pm, they cannot call the police to stop them. that is very disappointing. Also, we talked to the front desk in person to reservation an airport taxi for our departure one day before. The reception called the taxi company and told us it will come the next day 7:45pm. The next day, to be sure, I go to the front desk again to confirm our taxi reservation (our flight is 11pm, taxi take 45mins to airport). The front, who is another staff, checked on their notebook, and asked if we are room XXX. I said yes. And he told us that the reservation is done. So, I believe our taxi should be ok. That evening, we wait at the lobby at 6:30pm because all shops are closed due to the Shabbat. We wait until 7:45, I ask the reception if our taxi will be late. She said it may be late for 15 mins sometimes, or 30mins when bad days. When it is 8pm, the reception call the taxi company, the line was busy. When
she reached the taxi company, they told her that there was no such reservation. We are shocked and in great panic. He reception tried to order another taxi but it will come at 9:00. I was angry because the hotel did not explain to us what is she doing but using Hebrew make calls and text her iphone. i guess she is finding who make the reservation for us and may be report to her manager. By chance, there was a private taxi stopped and the reception bargain for us a good price. but it was still close to 3 times of our reserved type. It was almosr 8:30pm and we need to hurry. I have no choice and take this taxi. I told the reception that I will email to your manager for this whole thing and ask for a refund for this exceeded fares. After we back to my home county, I email the hotel manager. He feel sorry for us that the taxi company can
