A beautiful stay”
The place has modern deco, its clean and has a lot of activities for kids. I will sure come back with them. The only thing that didn't work was the fire place...
Peaceful R & R at Golden Gate”
Peace & quiet, facilities, location
A wonderful long weekend of quiet with nature - birds and bunnies to feed; fishing; walks; hiking; putt-putt; swimming; tennis; etc all on site. Lovely scenic drives in the Golden Gate National Park in one direction; Clarens and arts in the other direction. A day trip into Lesotho to Katse Dam or to see dinosaur footprints is also an option (need passport). For the mor adventurous, there is horse-riding, abseiling, golf, climbing etc close-by. About 4 hours comfortable driving from JHB with a lovely scenic drive through the National Park if you come from Harrismith direction. We are already planning a return visit!
